This place is a hidden gem! The biscuits were huge and out of this world. The staff was super friendly. The inside gives a small hometown atmosphere. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed!
Great food and service
The only redeemable quality of this place is the half decent breakfast they serve. Went on a not very busy morning and was told a 30 min wait. Ended up being an hour. Our server was almost completely absent. We waited about 15 minutes just for welcomes and water. My food was cold by the time she made an appearance to give me condiments. It’s cash only as well which is sort of inconvenient but not something I’d make a big deal of if there’s good service and food. Service was extremely poor and food could’ve been made at a chain. I rarely complain, especially on busy days (which this was not), but I would highly recommend getting brunch elsewhere if in IOP.
The restaurant was busy but as it turned out, having a dog, got me a fast seat outside at the covered patio. The waitress was attentive and the food was quick and delicious.
Great food and service!
Great waitress & delicious food!! Glad we stopped.
My pup and I had brunch on the porch. The place was very busy, the food excellent (I had the crab omlette), and the service kind. It's cash only (which was fine by me!)... yawl, there's an ATM right outside for those unprepared!
Cute place, food is good, friendly waitress. Some of the other staff. Not so much. We have a negative experience during on our recent visit. June 22nd The host, Tyler, at door was rude as we stepped inside to ask for table unknowning that we were to wait on the porch. He snap at me . Stating we are supposed to wait outside! I came back on the porch to wait. He came out and took peoples names standing in line behind us. Ignoring us, a party of 3, without taking our name or party count. So My boyfriend went in to complain-to the mgr. he said she apologized to him. Later when we were seated. My bfs mom ordered food. He and I didn’t eat . I wasn’t hungry and he was still a little irritated by the treatment. The mgr , at least we think she was a mgr. brought the food to the table for his mom. It was not our waitress. Instead going around to his mom side of the table where there was plenty of room. She leaned into my bf chest reaching over him to the other side of the table. To place his moms plate on the table. Looking him in the face , while leaning into him and speaking only to him. It was the oddest behavior and way to serve. We chalked it up the mgr was making a point to only speak to him. It was very unprofessional . As there was plenty of space for her serve his mom without doing that. Such a negative experience . My bf is adamant that he will never go back there again. And I can’t see any reason why we would since there are so many other options in the area.
A cool place to get a bite for breakfast. Great food.

My girlfriend and I recently visited Sea Biscuit between the Christmas and New Year's holidays. My girlfriend raved about the crab eggs benedict and I was satisfied with my omelet. Sea Biscuit serves good home-cooking if slightly over-priced in my opinion. But overall, it was a very positive experience. We went for brunch and it was still crowded...expect to wait during peak hours.
