My girlfriend and I recently visited Sea Biscuit between the Christmas and New Year's holidays. My girlfriend raved about the crab eggs benedict and I was satisfied with my omelet. Sea Biscuit serves good home-cooking if slightly over-priced in my opinion. But overall, it was a very positive experience. We went for brunch and it was still crowded...expect to wait during peak hours.

Small but busy. Fast, pro service, friendly people. Biscuits & gravy were the best I've had since the deep South. Cash only but there's an ATM outside. Will go back again when in town.

Parking: Adequate parking.

Honestly this place was kind of weird. They had a lady working the host stand who was very anxious - we asked to sit outside and she took us to an indoor table. We asked nicely, again, if we could sit outside. She said yes and for us to wait a few minutes. Then she came to grab us and brought us to another inside table. We said nicely, a third time, “we actually were hoping to sit outside” and she said, “oh that’s right! Just a minute,” she walked off, came back to get us and took us to another indoor table. We decided to just take it because clearly something was off. I ordered a sandwich and my mom got an omelette - but I got a hair in my food. Our server was very nice and accommodating but even still, it was gross. The omelette was a veggie omelette with cheese and bacon added to it, and it was $27.50 so overall pretty expensive and not great food.

Seemed very busy, so looked like a great place to eat. Walked up to ask the hostess how long the wait would be and she very rudely replied “I don’t know, over an hour.”

I wished her a good day and went on our way.

Coming from a service industry background I understand that at times when it is very busy it can be stressful but I don’t believe that it is okay to be rude to the customers because of this. Truly hope that she has a better day and and hope to try this place again in the future with a better experience.
