We had a great time seeing the cover band Zero to Never! We were a little confused about either food service or music venue. Had to run down the street for dinner before the show. It was a driving rain so we didn't get the full beachside experience. There were 3 bachelorette parties, a mix of college and older folks. Everyone had a great time. Sipped on straight Don Julio. No seats during the show.

bartender was incredibly rude and berated customers when not given a tip (was planning to leave cash, thank God we didn’t). No surprise why it was dead in there.

Updating my review to note that the owner has since replied to every single review from our party with sarcasm, personal attacks, and incoherent statements. His original comment on my sister’s review (“So you’re be back tomorrow then”) didn’t even make sense

It’s clear that the owner is unprofessional, defensive, and frankly unhinged. Instead of taking responsibility for his staff’s misinformation, he doubled down, blamed us for following their directions, and insulted paying customers celebrating a 65th birthday.

See attached screenshot for the kind of “customer service” you can expect here. If this is how the owner responds publicly, imagine how he handles problems you can’t see.

We came to the Windjammer around 4:30PM to ask if we could buy tickets at the door with cash instead of online to avoid the service fee. The security guard at the front assured us it would be fine - “just come back and pay cash, nothing to worry about.”

We returned later with our group of six, ready to celebrate my dad’s 65th birthday. Instead, we were met with a bouncer yelling, “You don’t have a ticket, get off the line, you’re holding up the line!” in front of everyone. It was humiliating and completely uncalled for.

When we asked to speak to a manager, he didn’t take any accountability for the bad information we were given. All he offered was a dismissive, “I’m sorry,” and sent us on our way. No attempt to fix the situation, no offer to help us get in, nothing.

Because of their poor communication, rude staff, and lack of basic customer service, they ruined what should have been a special night for my dad’s milestone birthday.

Terrible experience at the Windjammer. We went at 4PM, before the 6PM concert, to ask about purchasing tickets and were told by their own security guard we could pay cash at the door, nothing to worry about for our group of 6. When we arrived later to celebrate my dad’s 65th birthday, the bouncer yelled at us - “You don’t have a ticket, get off the line, you’re holding up the line!” - and the manager offered nothing but a dismissive “I’m sorry.”

They ruined what should have been a special night…but thankfully, the VFW next door saved the day. We had the best view, wonderful hospitality, and an unforgettable birthday celebration there instead. The Windjammer could take notes.

No attempt to help, no apology, and zero accountability. This was supposed to be a special night for my father-in-law’s birthday, and we were a group of six excited to see the show. Instead, we were turned away because of their poor communication and lack of customer service. Absolutely unacceptable.
