I grew up in Pennsylvania so I like to think I know a good Philly when I see one. The Philly from Yous Guys is pretty mediocre. One star because of the attitude and treatment of customers from the employees and $20+ for a mediocre sandwich. Every time I’ve been here the employees come across as rude and miserable. I somewhat get it being a northerner but that just doesnt work here in the South where excellent and polite service is the norm.

Best sandwich of my life. There were so many flavors popping with a hint of heat. The pasta salad was perfection and the tomatoes were in my dreams last night. And I don’t even like tomatoes. Usually. It was so fresh and good and I have now added this place to my list of food obsessions. It was so good. I have driven by so many times and laughed at the name and wanted to try because of the name. I’m so glad I finally went but also mad slept on my neighborhood shop for so long. Do yourself a favor and eat there!!

My husband was hitting the hanger stage when we pulled up to Yous Guys Sandwich Shop. The store front said closed. As we sat out front trying to figure out our next move, a man came out with an Italian hoagie all wrapped up and a sold out sign. Not only was the sandwich amazing (like wow, I don’t know what spicy sauce was on that sandwich but damn. And everything tasted fresh) but he literally saved our afternoon.We will definitely be back next time we come to Charleston!

Say what you want but Yous Guys has the best BREAKFAST sub in all of Charleston. Yes, yes I know the rest of sub line up is an awesone chef creation experience but nothing like a Steak, Egg, Peppers, Shrooms n Cheese.
