LOVED this place!! Stopped by for lunch after relaxing at The Springs down the road. Idaho City is a very small town of 450, and we have never been to the area before! This place has such a neat western / mining town fun vibe! The food was AMAZING. The pulled pork, Idaho tots, and Mac n cheese were so good - some of the best we've had and we've traveled a ton, including to many "BBQ capitals" in the US! Good job Goldmine. Did not expect this good of BBQ out here in Idaho City. Place is old school rustic but clean. It was 4:30pm on a wednesday so not a lot of people. My sandwich had a bit of every thing, the brisket was tender and tasty, pulled pork also very good, I had mac and cheese as a side creamy delious piese of bacon. We wanted to try somewhere new but Lil's Diamond Saloon was horrible. We always do Trudys so we wanted to try here and it was AWESOME! Clean,friendly staff,fun atmosphere and delicious food! I can't wait to come back for dinner!
