“My husband and I ate at Higher Ground for the first time Monday. We had the fried mushrooms for an appetizer and I had the pimento cheeseburger and he had the bacon double cheeseburger and seasoned fries. The food was amazing and delicious. The waitress was attentive had a sweet personality and gave great suggestions on what to order. It was a very cool temperature inside to eat on a hot day! I highly reccomend this place! Very clean inside! We will be back!”

We are on vacation and we passed a gas station with fried chicken and hot dogs on the menu; little that we knew down the road from it was an elegant bistro. Contemporary, clean, slick, amazing ambiance, the food was delicious and healthy, the espresso - a pleasant surprise tastes better than the best chain espresso coffee. The owners Will and Courtney are inviting, pleasant, young people with a vision. Will was very professional, friendly and very accommodating.”

“The food and service are relatively good however the drink prices are ridiculous. A tea bag costs 4 cents and they charge $3.50 for a hot tea. A normal price at most places is $2.50 or less. I only get water when I go now.”
