“Quick, Informative, and most importantly, Delicious. First time in Charleston and I just wanted some late night food. I saw online that South Street was open so I arrived without anything in mind and just blurted out “I’d like a hot dog” like I would in any city at night and the cook quickly and thoughtfully guided me and said “I’ll do it, but you want the cheesesteak”. I laughed and quickly followed his wise advice with light onions and banana peppers as he would normally order and it was fire! 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥

You don’t always get that insight and guidance, especially at night, from establishments, but they made me feel comfortable and made sure I was getting the best they offer.

“Came from Summerville to try this place out. Just based on the customer service alone I'll absolutely make the trip back downtown.
Gary was so nice and helpful. Talked about the menu to us, took his time since he knew it was our 1st time there. He was the best 👌! The food was really good as well. I had gone to another establishment days earlier for a Philly and ended up leaving before we got our food due to the horrible service and getting a rock in our appetizer that we were told they would take off half... ended up not paying anything which was the only positive thing that happened there, anyways, I being in the FnB industry greatly appreciate how things are ran at Danny's. Can't wait for an excuse to drive downtown for another Philly.

“First time visiting, ate in the store. Sandwiches were great! Dude behind the counter has a LOT to learn about customer service , social skills, and all around not be so entirely off putting that it’s now tainted my thoughts on ever coming back. If you have grievances with in your establishment about your work environment , or co workers, don’t broadcast it for every customer there! Also, pick your head up and look at people when they enter your establishment… seriously it’s a small effort with a large impact!“

“I always come here every so often in the mall.
I spent the hour oy, I arrived at 7:30, they are the only one open, How strange, but they were busy.
As always, the sandwich came out delicious and the service was professional.
I recommend to everyone. Arrange the sandwich your way.
