We are vacationing on Kiawah, our kids wanted Mexican food, and we knew the place at Fresh Fields had watery drinks and not great food. This place has a full bar as of April 2024. Service and food were excellent. My 6 year old had the chicken empanadas which were the best I’ve ever had, my chicken mole was yummy and quite spicy, they made a simple chicken and rice for our son, and my husband had a delicious fish burrito. The food is cooked fresh and really authentic. the menu is very limited but that’s to be expected for the area . Service was friendly but only one server so hard to get refills. Chips and salsa were good. No birria available which is what I actually wanted. Plenty of parking. Fine for families. There is a small bar. Not wheelchair or stroller accessible
We were a little concerned when no one was there, but we’re pleasantly surprised by the food. Our party of 7 all enjoyed the food. We will definitely be back when we visit the area again!
