Our family of eight went for dinner at our annual Christmas family get together. We ordered appetizers of escargot, pate and steak tartare. The cornbread that was for the table was the best I have eaten. We all had different entrees from the lamb Wellington to the Bolognese linguine. It was all delicious. The salads were super delicious.

We enjoy dinner at Hege’s every time we go. Top notch service starts at the door with one of our favorite owners Scotty. Last nights bar service was on point with Michaela (Makayla). She made us feel right at home with her welcoming down to earth personality and exceptional attention to detail. The fried oyster appetizer was exquisite and the New York strip was perfectly prepared. I highly recommend this spot for a date night or getting together with friends and family.

really impressive food - we tried and shared some really great items here. The oyster tart, the Salads! were exceptional, the beet barbecue sauce on the duck was sweet and rivaled any barbecue joint sauce anywhere ! The side greens were fantastic with my local tuna. And the pecan cheesecake combo was delish. Proud food snob - and it was really good. thanks

Terrific Meal! The food was spectacular. Order the specials- they are worth it. Chilean Sea Bass with the sake soy sauce was spectacular. The French onion soup had perfectly melted and crisp cheese. Our server could not have been more attentive. Desserts were great. Bread is warm and tasty. Lobster was a favorite among our group. Everything we tried was terrific! GO HERE!

DO NOT BOOK A RESERVATION UNLESS YOU ARE 100% CERTAIN NOT TO CANCEL OR THEY WILL CHARGE YOU $100 FOR CANCELLING! NO FLEXIBILITY AT ALL. I can understand penalties for 'no-shows' as this can cost a restaurant money but this restaurant is a busy place that essentially re-sells the same table to someone else. Feels a bit slimy to me just for $100? :( GREEDY) Even if you have a family member who has taken ill, this restaurant has zero flexibility. $100 charge for reservation for 4 people that attempted to cancel by calling at 1pm on the day of the reservation for a 7pm dinner isn't good business in my opinion. Too many other establishments in the area that welcome your business.

First time at Hege's and it was fantastic! Great service and everyone was friendly. Enjoyed the Tomahawk Pork Chop which melted in my mouth. Other dishes enjoyed in my party were the Chilean Sea Bass and Lobster Ravioli. Sublime.
If you like French Onion Soup, it is also fantastic.
Plan on returning as often as we are in town!

We celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary at the restaurant. The service was great. The food was awesome. If you want a more quiet atmosphere, I do recommend reserving as early a time slot as you can. The reservation reminders were nice too.

My husband treated me to a WONDERFUL dinner at Hege's tonight! For the appetizer, we had the caprese salad (the tomatoes were the perfect sweetness) and steak tartare (what a great idea wth the wonton chips!). My husband had the risotto and I had the duck - amazingly cooked and the sauce was spot on! Our waitress was very personable and we were checked on continously to ensure seamless satisfactory, which I appreciate. Thank you for the thoughtful birthday dessert! :-) We can't wait to return.
