This place is more of a sports bar, so it's not your quiet type eatery, it is very loud, and very lively when certain games are playing. I will never fault a restaurant for being loud when that is its very spirit!
The food is not top quality cuisine like fine dining, hence the four stars on that, but please don't take that as anything negative; It's quite the opposite in fact. The food itself is very good for what this type of restaurant offers. Sports bars normally have basic food that has flavor but not exquisite. Pictured here is a bacon burger with their special tangy sauce, which is actually quite good so to speak. Their fries are crunchy so if you don't like that, this may not be for you.
The service was incredible, I was served by a bartender by the name of Tyler H. He was very chill, very friendly, and hearing he was willing to sacrifice his time off to work here because of rather dubious workers gives me great respect to this grill. I will most definitely be visiting here every time I visit Kiawah simply because its workers have faith in the restaurant. I wish that kid the best of luck, and great kudos for his diligence in dealing with the customers. Especially a dork such as myself.

We ordered take out from King Street Bar and Grill and everything was fantastic! I ordered salmon, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. My husband got the Chesapeake Chicken Sandwich and our kids both got the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. My salmon was perfection! Everyone was happy and we hope to dine in, next time.

Decent restaurant but beware of the additional 3.5% service charge when paying by card. They do note it at the bottom of the receipt but it should be made crystal clear up front that the menu prices are the cash price only. Kind of shady especially for Kiawah where they have zero problems filling restaurants to capacity. Would be smarter to give a discount for cash than tack on a service charge for cards. Other than that the food and service were pretty good except that my medium steak was extremely well done and one of my guests well done steak was medium rare...they obviously got the steaks mixed up.

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Colin at King Street Grille, and I cannot say enough about the exceptional service he provided. From the moment we were seated, Colin greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel incredibly welcome. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor throughout our meal made the dining experience truly enjoyable.
Colin was knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations and answering all of our questions with patience and enthusiasm. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and ensured that everything was perfect from start to finish.
Not only was Colin efficient and professional, but he also added a personal touch that made our visit memorable. It's rare to find a server who goes above and beyond to such an extent, and Colin's dedication to providing top-notch service was evident in every interaction.

When we walked in the host could not be bothered with us until he was finished joking around with another employee. He then pointed to a table. A few minutes later we were given menus. Not a big deal until, it took 20 minutes for a glass of wine to be delivered (we were the closest table to the bar and I could see it sitting there). We could see our server in the kitchen socializing and dancing, he was very slow and not attentive at all. One person (out of four) at our table then had their order messed up. We were told it would be a few minutes, it took 15 (our food was cold by then). We asked for our check, when they came back for us to sign, they billed us for another tables food which was significantly higher than our bill. We finally got our bill and paid with a debit card because of the 3.5% added to credit (specifically states charge would not be assessed on debit cards). When we got our bill, the charge was added. We told the server, who told the host (we were closest table to him as well) he never looked up, instead sent another server to talk to us about it. His response was, “well, I don’t know why that happened, it’s not supposed to”. Not one person offered to re-run the card and fix their mistake. We signed the check and left. We have never had a problem here, but will not be returning. The food was good but the service was horrible.

Had the turkey burger, it was pretty good. Waiter forgot our appetizer, probably cause he didn't write it down. They did bring it out at no cost, which I appreciate. Another place you should get reservations.

DO NOT GO HERE. Went here as a last resort while on vacation. The waiter (whom on the receipt was T.H.D. Seemed as if he was high on something. Our orders all came out wrong and my wife even received a totally different item than what was requested. I never tip less than 15% until this time we rounded up to the nearest dollar which ended up being $0.04 . Which I assume the waiter didn’t like. With tip the total was 99$ when we checked the bank account we were charged $120. When we spoke to the manager about it he said he would refund the .04 cent tip. This place is too sketchy. Won’t be back.
