Service was amazing and all of our food was delicious! I loved my steak and my boyfriend loved his pork chop. We got potatoes and brussel sprouts as a side and the brussel sprouts were good but those potatoes… were actually amazing. We debated on ordering some to go. The whipped ricotta was a refreshing appetizer and my miso juicy drink was delicious as well. Highly recommend this cute and flavorful restaurant!

Phenomenal gem! The food was SO delicious and flavorful that I scarfed it down too fast to get a photo of anything. The ricotta, smoked eggplant, Brussels, steak, and pork chop were on point. The chefs are out at the open air grill making magic happen. Great cocktails too! Everything we had was fantastic!! It is certainly worth the wait, as the are walk in only. It is an outdoor restaurant that is weather permitting. Do not miss this place! Staff were all friendly and service was efficient. Dog friendly too! Great ambiance and atmosphere. Can get a little buggy at night. We had such a great time and an even better meal!

I absolutely LOVE Lost Isle and wish I lived on the East Coast and could get it more. This place is so fun and I just love the concept. The cocktails are fantastic and the food is absolutely out of this world. It's no wonder that this made the New York Times list. Everything has such amazing and unique flavor and the staff is so attentive. We tried nearly everything on the menu and everything was so good. I cannot wait to come back the next time I'm in the area. Thank you Chef Josh for the amazing dinners you're creating!

Perhaps the only negative (which isn’t necessarily a difficult one to address) is the reluctance for service to clear a table. Everyone wants to be a runner, but not a busser. Strange considering it’s up to me to order. Service will acknowledge I’ve finished a plate, ask how it was, but then leave the empty plate. Atmosphere very nice. Prices competitive.

The food was not good. The chips in the hummus were stale. You had to get up to order. The entrees didn’t have much flavor at all. A tomahawk cannot be correctly cooked in 6 minutes either.

A truly unforgettable wood-fired dining experience 🔥
From the moment we walked in, the service stood out. The gentleman at the front desk greeted us warmly and set the tone for the night. Kat, who took our order, was attentive, welcoming, and made the experience feel personalized. The entire staff made us feel taken care of from start to finish.
But let’s talk about the real stars of the show: the chefs.
Watching them cook everything over a live wood fire—right in front of us—was nothing short of masterful. These aren’t just cooks, they’re technicians of flavor. The control they have over the flames, the timing, the balance—you can taste it in every bite. The smokiness, the char, the way even a simple lemon slice comes alive with flavor—it’s unreal.
Food Highlights:
• Honey Ricotta – An absolute must. Creamy, rich, and balanced with a touch of sweetness. The portion was huge—we had plenty to take home, and it was just as good the next day.
• Every dish we tried had layers of flavor thanks to that wood fire. You can taste the difference—every bite feels intentional.
Value & Atmosphere:
• Fair pricing for what you’re getting. Honestly, for this level of quality and craft, they could charge more—but they don’t. It’s a rare find.
• The setting was intimate, energetic, and perfectly designed to spotlight the chefs and their process.
Final Verdict:
If you’re looking for a place that delivers on flavor, hospitality, and a front-row seat to some serious wood-fired craftsmanship—Lost Isle is it. We’ll absolutely be back.

Cat was awesome. The hosts were great, the staff was super friendly, and they really took care of us. Seating was quick, and the best part—we got front-row seats right in front of the chefs. That made the whole experience even better.
The flavor? Absolutely the bomb. You can tell they focus on quality over quantity. The menu isn’t huge, but every item we tried was packed with flavor. Highly recommend it.

Lost Isle has been great both times we've gone. Most recently, we came for a late meal with a party of eight, and their team welcomed us and made sure we had a wonderful experience. There's something about having an elevated dining experience without a bougie environment and staff. Some of our favorites include the whipped ricotta, curry braised collards, smoked tomahawk pork chop, fire roasted clams, and the grilled Australia Ribeye. If you're looking for an incredible experience, visit asap!

Great place. Totally different flavor of food from the normal and it was delicious. Try everything. The picture has most of our empty plates for a reason.

The food and service are great. I love that you don't need a reservation. The curried collards and grilled chicken are my go-to. I love the vibes here. I only wish they had takeout.

My meal consisted of the swordfish dip on toasted bread. Very good. The plancha smashed potatoes were amazing, as well. Cooked to perfection. My only knock is the steaks only being cooked at medium rare. Why, Lost Isle? You have that huge open flame concept. Just curious. Any top rated chef/cook would know how to make any temperature steak. Luckily, mine erred on the side of medium, so it was OK. Me personally, I simply can’t eat medium rare.
