Lost Isle is a gem! Unique ambiance and patio / fire pit vibe pairs well with the all wood-fired menu. Open kitchen concept is fun to watch. Delicious, innovative cocktail menus and cocktails on tap. The chicken is to die for, as is the curry collards, polenta, and the whipped ricotta. My wife said one of her favorite spots in Charleston at any price! Of course, picking the right night/weather to go is crucial, as this is entirely outdoor seating. Dress appropriately. This is THE woodfired vibe in charleston (most definitely not Southbound, this is half the cost and twice a good!)

Everything here is top notch. You have to visit!The olives were my favorite.The chicken was amazing.The carrots were great.The cauliflower steak was spicy and delish.The gintonica was over the top.I can't say enough about the staff or the atmosphere.You just need to go.
The food was absolutely delicious!! The atmosphere was a total vibe. The staff was super friendly. We had the whipped ricotta, oysters, smashed potatoes, steak, and the pork chop. The meats were cooked to perfection. Can’t wake to go back!

Wow! Finally got to go to Lost Isle and had an unforgettable experience at the Chefs Table where the magic happens. Atmosphere was amazing with the beautiful trees, chandeliers, twinkle lights and the fires everywhere were next level. Food was INCREDIBLE!! My ribeye literally melted in my mouth with every bite, chicken was tender and juicy and delicious. Sides/Apps were amazing. I recommend trying the ricotta app and the oysters, Wow!! Drinks were amazing as well to complement an amazing evening and to top it all off, Hospitality and Customer Service was top notch. This is a gem in John’s Island and you better get here before they get so busy and you gotta wait because Lost Isle is taking John’s Island by a storm. Can’t wait to be back! Thank you Chef Josh for saying hello and treating us like Royalty!
I want to like this place, I really do. But I can't, the food was not good. Ribeye was terrible and I sent the first one back and the second one was again terrible so not consumed. The wood fired oysters were great but that was it. Serving a steak with a tablespoon of salt on the side in a wooden bowl is not proper out door cooking. Season the meat before cooking/smoking/grilling. You can't add salt after it's over cooked. It just doesn't work.On a side note this place is not disabled accessible. There is no solid walk way.. Wheelchairs are not going to work in the gravel. The bartenders were great and the drinks were awesome but the snarky comments behind the bar from bar managers were disgusting and I won't repeat them. The bar tender was great and also deserves a break to use the bathroom.Get it together or JZI will vote you off.

BEST food we have had in Charleston since moving here 5 months ago. The space is so cute, they gave me a blanket for a chilly night. We had the chicken and the steak, and I am hungry just thinking about the food again. The staff was so friendly and responsive, and really made the experience fun. It is truly a one of a kind place. This was our first time and definitely not our last. We had to park across the street and knew we were in for a treat. We had the smoked oysters, whipped ricotta and smashed potatoes. We then shared the chicken and a steak for our main courses. The servers were great and the “All Day Long” should not be missed.
We haven’t been here yet for dinner, but have been a few times for drinks-what a cool vibe this place has! I was a little apprehensive about hanging outside because I’m usually are target for mosquitoes, but so far so good (the bartender said they combat it with fans and different deterrents surrounding the property). They have a great variety of drinks and the staff is very friendly. Parking isn’t the best, but they maximized the space they have.

Awesome and unique use of space! Great vibe all around between the lighting, music, decor, AND fire pits! Relaxed, friendly, and efficient service from the whole team. Delicious drinks from the bar and the kitchen crushed it on each item that my girlfriend and I got to try tonight! This was truly a great experience for us on our 7th anniversary.
