Pelican's Nest

Casual upscale dining on the ocean. Service was excellent and we all enjoyed the varied and fresh menu selections. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and the attentive and friendly staff.

I’ve been coming to Seabrook Island for years. At least twice during our stay, we will eat at The Pelicans Nest. It’s never been fabulous, but some years are much better than others. The lowest point was last summer, when I ordered the peel and eat shrimp. When the shrimp were placed in front of me, I caught a whiff of something absolutely horrendous. I honestly wasn’t sure what it was. It wasn't until I picked up a shrimp and started to peel it that I realized it was the shrimp. They were completely spoiled. It honestly smelled what I would imagine a dead body to smell like. it was absolutely horrible. We called the waitress over and she apologized and admitted that she had thought she smelled some thing as well. It’s so ruined our appetites we didn’t dare eat there the rest of the trip. I had to wash my hands about four times in order to get the smell off of them. I We are going back to Seabrook again in a couple of weeks and I’m honestly still a little apprehensive about eating here again.

Chef Antjuan sent out the most delicious tuna on purple quinoa even though we were early for the dinner service. Bradley was on top of his service game and we really appreciated all of his suggestions and consideration. As condo owners We love Seabrook and the Pelicans Nest, especially their specials each day!

Food was great! I got the bacon turkey wrap twice, with fries! Great fries that are seasoned! It’s was around $12.50 for lunch special wrap and fries! Automatic gratuity is added to every bill, either 10-20% I can’t remember.

Absolutely love Seabrook and the convenience of the Pelicans Nest! It’s so nice to have a restaurant and pool area nestled right next to the sea. My favorite part? Being able to order drinks + appetizers to take with you to sit by the pool. The downside is the price tag associated with almost anything at the Pelicans Nest! It’s good, but you’re going to be paying a service fee (tip) and additional club fees with every bill. So be prepared to pay when you go for a day at the pool!

Never got in. Even though we are renting a place that is supposed to include cards to get in, they were not available. They make NO exceptions.The only saving grace, the young lady was very polite.

Atmosphere was good, beautiful view of the ocean. Service was poor, Nathan was rarely present for drinks or assistance. Food was good but serving size was small. Ticket came and a nice tip was already added to the bill which explained the poor service. Overall would tell others to go elsewhere, spend half the money and be happier with the dining experience.

Best ocean front atmosphere anywhere. Gorgeous views day and night. Great food and drinks. Busy, friendly staff doing a great job with a big crowd and food came out fast. Reasonable prices for beach restaurant.

We were told it would be 2 hours for a table. We watched at other families who came in after us were seated before us. We also so plenty of empty tables while we were waiting. We were also told that they don't take reservations. Extremely bad service. If you're hungry avoid this place.
