Those who know me know I'm a bit of a foodie. I love to cook and love to find local places to eat when traveling. To be clear I've had boils up and down the gulf coast but never in South Carolina. Being such a lover of the gulf it is hard for me to say that this boil beat anything I've ever had but it did and did so by miles. Generous portions and everything cooked to perfection. And while the shrimp were amazing the potatoes definitely stole the show, sucking...
Have eaten here twice several years apart and can confidently say Joe does the best fried shrimp basket of anywhere I’ve ever been. The shrimp were fried to perfection. All the sides are extremely flavorful and pair deliciously with the fresh seafood. Joe is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Thanks for blessing us tonight Joe! This will continue to be a highlight and regular spot when we visit the area.
Great seafood, great prices, and the garlic butter sauce is awesome. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Save yourself some money dining out and get some fresh seafood to cook at home!
