We had such an amazing experience here. The food was absolutely delicious, but Brian’s service made it exceptional. He was so attentive, engaging, and fun, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Truly phenomenal service paired with great food. Can’t wait to return! Thank you Brian!
Nice restaurant. A little loud. Of the 4 of us, 2 thought their meal was “fine”, 1 poor and 1 inedible. The blackened shrimp chowder came highly recommended but was super salty.
We recently visited Charleston and forgot to make dinner reservations, that’s when we happed on to The Royal Tern. Despite no reservations, they gladly seated us at a great table.
The food was exquisite, everything from the Raw Bar, the fried shrimp, to the halibut. The halibut was prepared perfectly and was so unique; the ingredients worked together in delicious synergy. My cocktail was on-point, too.
As a home cook, being able to watch the chefs prepare the meals was fascinating....
