Waited 2 hours for take out. Lmao. Ordered ricotta gnocchi’s, lmao… they served me them in the shape of a York peppermint patty. God I wish I took a picture. I’m an Italian from NJ. Believe me, This restaurant wouldn’t last one month there. Step up your game Mr. Tolli, the real Italians are here & want authentic Italian food when it’s time to wine & dine

I love Tolli's on Johns Island often drive from
James Island to grab dinner there. The garlic cheese bread is out of this world, the pizza is good and I have loved every sandwich I have ever got here!

First off I would like to say we enjoy the food at Tolli’s. We go here often. What I do not like is the nickel and dime charges for other things. When I order a drink and you charge me for the alcohol one price and another price for ice cubes is absolutely ridiculous. I would rather you tell me the drink is $12 than $10 snd $2 for ice. Because, I sure as he am not tipping my server 20% on ice when I could bring my own ice from home. Give me a price for the drink that includes everything. It looks like you are nickel and diming me for everything. The only person that suffers in this is the server. I am not going to tip on ice, tax and the service charge for using a credit card. It’s ridiculous!

I love, love their pizza. It's only a 10" pizza but it is so good. Crust is thin and crusty. Sauce is awesome. Service is excellent. Awesome deserts also.
Will not be disappointed.

Love this local spot and grateful to have them on Johns Island! The Estivia, clams, & thin breaded chicken w/ arugula are my absolute favorites!

When the restaurant opened, the food & service were fantastic. We loved Tolli's. All has declined since opening.

Tonight I called in a to go order. I was rudely told to order on line. I refused as I'd always called in. I ordered my favorite, the gnocchi with marinara & fresh mozzarella.

Upon entering the restaurant to pick up the order, it took at least 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge my presence. I paid & included a 20% tip.

I got home & found that my order was horrible. Gnocchi was super spongy. The marinara we extremely acidic. The mozzarella was NOT fresh.

All aspects of Tolli's have diminished. Between tonight's food & the service, I will not order or visit Tolli's again. Terrible!!!

This place is way over priced for what it is. Prices aren’t made for the south these are prices of people that live in the north. And this place is where the owners are probably from the New England area. The prices are way over the top for the quality of the food. It’s not with the times of these days in food. Fix your prices first then we’ll be back.

I have only eaten in the restaurant before. I would not get take out again. The meatball sub was great, but the calzone was extremely disappointing. I called right away, but there was no one in management to speak with. There were 4 1/2 slices of pepperoni put into the middle of each side of the calzone and that was it. The amount topping for the charge of 2.75 was lacking plus the $16 price. The person I spoke with asked if I ate it. I explained just a few bites and that I have the rest if needed. I contacted the business by phone, email, and messenger, but never heard back. Even if they don't agree, some type of customer service reply would have been nice.

The food was fair but way overpriced for the atmosphere. The owners son was very rude and condescending. Their A La Carte pricing is absolutely ridiculous. This is strip shopping center. This is not a Downtown chef renowned restaurant. I’ve been to many Italian restaurants up and down the east coast. My advice, if I spend over $200 for dinner don’t be an azz hat!

It is way overpriced. I have been a few times but I won't be going back. Gnocchi with a small overcooked chicken fillet on top was 32.00 for lunch.
