Two people. Had a bread appetizer because entrees do not include it, two entrees, cocktails. $224 including 20% tip. We waited and waited for drinks and apps. Not the waiters fault. Food was good, not great plentiful portions but. Like someone else said in a previous review the gnocchi was not hot so cheese didn’t melt. But this was not a $200 atmosphere or service experience. For that we would have gone downtown. Will not be back. Disappointed

We have been 4 times now and the food is fresh, plentiful and flavorful. Their pistachio cheesecake and raspberry lemon cheesecake are delicious and we brought them home to enjoy over the next couple of days. The linguine and clam sauce is almost as good as my husband’s recipe . Their bread is fresh and great to finish off the clam sauce. The meatballs are a great meal if you are skipping pasta. Their pizzas are wood fired thin and crispy with many choices for toppings with both red and white sauce. The staff is friendly and attentive. Even the customers are friendly and smile and greet you. Thankful they are here on John’s Island

The website says 12 inch pizzas for take out - they do offer bigger pizzas - I got 2 tiny pizzas and it was 43 dollars - highway robbery

This restaurant was my absolute favorite a couple of years ago. I would go every chance I got and so enjoyed the quality and taste of the food. Especially the chicken pargimania. In the last year or so I noticed the quality of the food did not taste the same and was not the same. For example, the San Marzano tomatoes were no longer put on the menu as an ingredient. It is my feeling they went to low quality ingredients and you can definitely taste it. This week I had my favorite dish chicken parmigiana and again the chicken was grisly and had a really bad texture. No real flavor. The sauce was bland and not appealing. I would not recommend this restaurant nor do I plan on returning, I am sorry to say.

I grew up in Boston. Been around great pizza my whole life. I’ve had the New Haven style pizzas my whole life. This place is the real deal. It took one bite to figure it out.

Your fingernails are going to be black after you eat this pizza and that’s how you know it’s the real deal.

Phenomenal crust, sauce, and cheese. 10/10

Can’t wait to try their dinners

A bit pricey to keep going back more than a few times a month. 😔 The marinara sauce could use more meat. In my opinion. But still very good.

Went here with my grandfather and cousin and we had a great time. Food was amazing and our server, Ronnie, was awesome. Best Tiramisu I’ve ever had.

Google helped us find this restaurant and we are so glad it did. My husband and I both got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. It was delicious! Our server Angel was fantastic. She was so accommodating to us especially when it came to our kids. Will definitely be back here next time we are in town!

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday last night. Worst restaurant experience we’ve ever had. As soon as we walked through the door I noticed the bartender and host looked stressed. We were sat and our waiter came to take our drink order. When he came back with those, we ordered an appetizer of garlic pesto knots and the special app of friend zucchini flowers. Mind you, we sat and waited for those apps for nearly half an hour. A table of four had come in after us and was given their appetizers way before us. I asked the food runner, a brown haired, braid wearing girl, where our apps were because we ordered ours way before the table next to ours did. She got super snippy with me and said, “I’m not your waiter, I will have to ask him.”
“I know you’re not my waiter. Please go get him for us.”, I replied.
When the waiter came, he remarked, “I understand you have issues?” LMFAO!
“I indeed have an issue with our long wait for our non-existent appetizers. And I have an issue with your food runner with a very unhelpful attitude.”
Waiter said, “I’m sorry, I’ll see what the holdup is…”
When the waiter came back to our table after talking to the kitchen, he stated, “The chef needs to make more batter for the zucchini flowers, that was the holdup.”
I call BS on that. He forgot to put in our order. I’m pretty convinced of this because when we finally got our apps, he told the gentleman at the table next to us, “Uh, sorry sir, I seemed to have forgotten to put your entree order in….do you mind telling me what it was?”
That was it for me.
Before the waiter could leave our area, I asked him to cancel our entree orders and bring us the check.
The waiter appeared stoned with this dreamy, empty look on his face, moving at a snails pace and the snappy little food runner girl needs way better restaurant training than they’ve received.
We are never going back.
If I could give a zero star, I would.

This restaurant is a foodie's delight! The best garlic cheese bread in my life, delicious focassia bread, pastas are fresh home made, the marinera sauce also tasted fresh and not super acidic. Chicken was very tender, all the food we tried was packed with flavor. We brought our dog and were able to sit outside with him but the staff made sure to give him a bowl of water and some ice to keep hydrated while we ate. We felt like all staff was very attentive and while they were busy they did not forget we were outside. They kept us informed as far as when to expect our food. It was worth the wait about 30 minutes (they did have 3 orders in front of ours) so fairly fast considering the crowd they served for the evening.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in the Charleston area. The meatballs and sauce are delicious and I’ve never had a cheesecake that isn’t absolutely delicious. The pizzas are a great take out option as well. I like that the atmosphere is moderately casual and this location typically does not require reservations for fast service and delicious food.
