Dark, noisy room where babies and little children are welcome. We enjoyed our salads and the rolls they serve. There are servers and assistant servers, but we could not get anyone's attention when we needed salt and pepper. My salmon came out well done and dry, when meant to be medium at most. Though we hated to do so, we sent it back. Unfortunately, it came back the same, or even worse. I do not understand the hype, with people standing and waiting an hour to be seated. We won't go back.

Decent food, excellent view unless you sit at the other side of the table (then no view), and basic service. You could tell they knew grat was included.

Fantastic 5 star dining experience. From the Oyster Rockefeller to the grouper and filet, you can't go wrong. Also, make sure not to miss the Mac n cheese as your side. Our waitress was top notch and the executive chef delivered our entrees to the table himself.Can't forget to mention the spectacular view of the 18th green on the famous Ocean course.This is a must stop if you're staying on or off the island and looking for a high end dinner experience.

Odd experience... Completely unexpected and below par.Big disappointment.My son and his girlfriend got sick after dinner that affected them until morning and we had to miss our morning golf reservation due to this experience.Shrimp & Grits and the she crab soup were the culprit of my son and his girlfriend's health demise.My catch of the day under par.Just strange, off, off-putting experience.My son complained about the sour shrimp & grits as there also were pieces of shrimp shell in the dish that he choked on...his meal was taken off the bill but that's not the point...Bottom Line: dining experience during and after were below standard for the venue.Some experiences can't be rectified...this perhaps was one...and totally not in keeping with the excellence one expects of the Kiawah Island Resort.

Executive Chef Ondo was so kind and friendly to our table. What an inviting experience he provided. Our server Rodney didn’t seem emotionally invested while hosting our table but no problems with the food. The Atlantic Room is deserving of five stars.

Beautiful dining room with sweeping views of the Kiawah island golf course and ocean! However the food is lacking. It would be great if soy was omitted from many of the dishes as soy is a common allergy.

Dietary restrictions: They are accommodating with guests who are gluten free or have food allergies.

My wife and I dined here on our Kiawah vacation. We started with tomato and peaches with Burrata. Adding the peaches to this dish makes it a different flavor but still very good. My wife had the shrimp and grits and it was the best she has ever had. The sauce was not thick and had a wonderful flavor. I had the fish of the day, golden tile, with summer beans, corn bisque, peppers, etc. it was a wonderful fish dish. The service was solid and the views are nice since the restaurant is at the Ocean Course.

We made a stop after checking out from the sanctuary for a lunch .This was the best decision.Food was excellent. And the souring mesmerising

The service and the food were very good. Unfortunately there is nothing vegan on the menu. But we were able to put something together that was also vegan.
