Prices are insane
This was a great ice cream shop. The girl working there were very friendly however they were extremely expensive
Very warm setting to relax
Good ice cream.
Swimming pool
Enjoyed a cafe mocha here, staff was very pleasant. Didn't have a chance to try anything else. Was a nice after lunch beverage.
Prices made my jaw drop. Way too expensive for one scoop of regular ice cream. Don’t bother.
Ridiculously expensive ice cream, I mean insulting prices. It was tasty but don't bother.
You have to visit and experience all the wonderful flavors this place has to offer and plan on making numerous visits!
Inside of The Santuary lobby. We stop in for ice cream or hot chocolate, but no longer. The prices are ridiculously expensive now! We just paid $14 for 2 small hot lukewarm chocolates!
Restaurantji Recommends
For such an expensive meal, the service and food quality did not equate. Upon walking in, we had ordered coffees and sandwiches (on which prices were not marked). Once we had ordered, we were met with pretentious remarks concerning our orders (such as claiming we had ordered hot coffee when we had only ordered it iced). Altogether, we had ended up paying $60.10 for mediocre coffee and pre-wrapped sandwiches, and suspect we had been given incorrect change.
Delicious breakfast sandwiches and espresso drinks
We had our daily coffee here. It was a great quick option for coffee, breakfast sandwiches and treats like ice cream and candy.
Been here many times and I would say it is a cute, tiny little ice cream shop. Most recent visit was concerning…they used to have a sign outside the shop allowing just a few people in at once as a covid mitigation strategy. On a recent visit, by the time I got to the register, there was a large group of patrons crowded inside with their small children. The children were coughing, not wearing masks, and the lady who rang up my ice cream must have sensed my discomfort and asked me, “are you ok, ma’am?” I responded, “yes, I just want to get out of here, it’s a bit crowded.” I was told by another patron that she laughed at me on my way out of the shop. There is nothing funny about trying to socially distance, and I won’t be returning to spend over $6 on an average ice cream cone seeing as there is no protocol to enforce masks on children under 12. For the safety of the workers and patrons, maybe consider putting the sign out again that asks you to wait outside the door if another family is already inside. I did just that, but apparently others don’t pick up on these social cues and just pile on into this super small space. I don’t care that I was laughed at for this, but maybe I should be laughed at for spending so much on an ice cream cone.
Always a nice treat!
