Mingo Point oyster dinner is excellent! Highly recommend. 2 in our family don’t eat oysters & we had plenty pf choices for dinner. The favorite is the low country boil. So good! 2nd year going, we’ll be back again!

We attended the weekend oyster roast and bbq at Mingo Point the Saturday before Labor Day. Besides having wonderful food , a market, and fun games for the children, you could stroll of the beautiful grounds. The oysters were steamed to perfection and the staff came.up with a signature cocktail for the event. This was a wonderful start to the holiday weekend.
I have been going to Kiawah island for 20 years and have never been to Mingo Point. The food was terrific, and I’ll definitely go again.

Great calm water for kayaking!!! Guide was friendly and informed. Saw roseate spoonbill, terns, great blue heron, egrets and dolphins! Great place for beginners and experienced kayakers!
