Waited over 40 minutes for a sandwich. Yes, it was busy but I checked on it twice. They finally admitted the order has been given to another customer. Got very little in the way of an apology. When I finally got my sandwich, which was just a BLT, it had a few shreds of lettuce and ONE piece of bacon per half on toast. The fries were barely lukewarm. $12 for this!

Inflation is killing us all, I get it.But their prices just keep going up and have been before the plandemic.Food is mediocre at best. Some days it is GREAT, others grits are over cooked, potatoes are under cooked, etc. Desserts are always on point, though. Some days, coffee is really good. Others, it's quite bitter. Who knows what you'll get today?Honestly, it is just a different option other than Mexican in Lake City, which is nice. However, my true frustration derives from them now choosing to charge $0.42 for an ice water because they have their sticker on them? Get cheap cups for water, c'mon come on. When you spend $50+ for very little food, I think water should be complimentary. But I guess that's just me.Shoot, Disney gives free water out, in the same cups they give coke in...?

Place is vibing. So many great treats to choose from that it was difficult to decide. Grab a whole cake for your next celebration. Friendly staff and amazing food. If you, for some crazy reason decide not to get a sweet treat, fear not they have a wide selection of lunch and breakfast food as well. Fried green tomatoes, burgers, Philly cheese, black bean burger and more.

Baker's Sweets is one of my favorite spots for lunch or meeting up with friends. My go to meal is the blackbean burger with sweet potato fries. You can get this meal with Hawaiian bread or in a wrap. The iced Chai Tea is exquisite as well.

Some ordered lunch for me and I got a cheese steak sandwich with mold on the bread. Very visible so it's like they didn't care that they sent out such a disgusting sandwich.. never again. Fried green tomatoes were very good. (At least)

Workers were standing around talking while there was a line out the door and only one register open. Waited 25 min for a salad because it was placed as to go instead of dine in.

I really wanted to like this place as it looks nice and inviting. But the people working there have no clue on how to make coffee. I should have walked out when they asked me if I wanted whipped cream with my cappuccino. I asked for the cappuccino dry and after I explained it, it still came out as heavy as a full cup of milk. Not only do they not have Stevia, they had no clue what it is. My hope is these girls (who were very nice), get some much needed training.

I highly recommend this place! Service is great! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu is amazing! We stopped in for breakfast and got distracted (in a good way) by the desserts! Everything looked so delicious. We opted for a light breakfast just so we could enjoy a cinnamon roll. And wow did we enjoy! It was soft, chewy, cinnamony with the perfect amount of glaze. I ordered bacon, egg and cheese on Texas toast.. DELICIOUS! My husband ordered sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant.. he said it was delicious as well. This is a cute place that smells of sweets and coffee! We will definitely return if we're in the area.

The food here is absolutely delicious! It is homemade and fresh! The Gullah soup is to die for! The sweets are equally as good & decadent, all made with fresh ingredients! This is a great little place to stop on the way to or from Pawley’s Island. Jacayla is the “ frosting on the cake” (at the cash register) and provides personal food suggestions and friendly customer service! This will be a regular stop from now on! Yum!

This restaurant/bakery is the bomb! I got the roasted turkey with cheddar (1/2 sandwich) and the Gullah soup! Omg! Sooo good! Food only to be surpassed by sweet & friendly service , as well as food recommendations from Jakala at the register! Who knew????!!! This five star restaurant in a teeny town (Lake City)--on the way to Pawley's!!! Yum, yum.

Passing through Lake City Saturday and decided to stop by. When I tell you this was the BEST service I’ve ever had I’m not lying! The workers were some of the greatest people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet! They were so sweet, welcoming, and so polite! And the food?! Oh my god it was amazing!! This definitely will be my new go to spot!

Called in an order. Food is always delicious however I cannot understand why a call in order must wait in line up front to pick up in the back?? I WASTED 30 plus of my lunch break in line today just waiting to pay for my order. Sorry to say I won't be back.

Amazing food as well as the environment. The environment is so welcoming and it is a nice and peaceful place to enjoy some food and coffee. The workers are super friendly and kind. All in all it’s a wonderful place to relax.
