“This place is hands down the best BBQ in South Carolina . We ate there the very first time while visiting and came back the very next day . Love the owners who were exceptionally friendly, talk about southern hospitality, they made us feel welcomed and at home. In my honest opinion this is the best BBQ I’ve had in my life. You can tell the food was made with a lot of love and care. Loved this place and every single dish.”

“Great little place to share a meal and have a few drinks! The beer selection is small, but it's a small place, and that's what makes it special! What they had in tap was amazing, and I returned to get a few growlers filled! Haven't tried the wine list yet, but that's in the works. Overall it's a wonderful experience, and we'll be repeating it often!”

“Restaurant was well decorated and had plenty of seating. Service was a little rocky but overall okay at the end. The food was good. We only had one problem, we ordered the kids steak and shrimp for my daughter and told them medium well, and it came out med rare. It also happened the last time we came. I'm not sure if the problem lies with the servers or cooks. We will be back.”

“In town for work and had a craving for tacos. Decided to try out this taqueria based on the reviews. Definitely worth it if you love tacos. Super affordable and packed with a lot of meat. Both salsas were great, and one had some real heat. Horchata was not overly sweet, the perfect refreshment. An awesome family business.”

“We headed to Lake City today to see the 110-foot steel cross and then headed to town to explore. We picked a Monday, and many things are not open on Monday, but this was and thank goodness! This was a great stop, the atmosphere of all the older buildings being renovated instead of destroyed gives this downtown 5 stars for us! The food was great. We had Nacho's, the tray was very large, and the cheese was on point. We also had Chicken tenders, the adult portion, this was 4 or 5 very large tenders and the sweet potato fries were the best I have had. The Hamburger plate with mushrooms, the Ceasar salad with chicken, the hotdogs with chili completed our order and all were fresh and delicious. The sweet tea was also a hit. Our waitress, Tammy was so patient with our indecisiveness and kept checking on things for us. When my Ceaser salad arrived without dressing she was so apologetic and brought some dressing quickly. I prefer it not be premixed so it ended up being a win. I would recommend this to my friends when they are looking for a nice lunch in Lake City. “General manager like talked trash about customers and then went on how people can't work these days. You don't want to bring your employees down talking in that manner. Food was good, service was somewhat fast. And the atmosphere was clean and calm.”
