The Inn is such a gorgeous place, beautiful artwork and set-up. The staff were very nice and professional and brought a nice sofisticated atmosphere. The place was so quiet, you would think you're the only guests. The rooms were comfy and immaculately clean. I clean all surfaces with lysol wipes (even the bathroom floor) and I was thoroughly impressed. The only thing that I think could improve is the breakfast. For $180 a night, I would expect a hot breakfast with dining space. I love breakfast so this was big for me. There were mixed reviews about it so I thought I would give it a shot. There is only one high-top table that another family was seated at. The only thing for breakfast was refrigerated boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee, oatmeal, cereal, apples, individual juices and pastries. There was a microwave and toaster for heating them. Very much a "grab and go" breakfast that I wouldn't have expected in an upscale place.
You can tell that reviews are taken into consideration. There were reviews that I had read prior with suggestions for various things and they weren't an issue while I was there. I would 100% stay there again if I was in the area and hope that breakfast was better the next go-round!
On another note, make sure you try out the Bistro! The food was decently priced for the amount of food and the quality. My leftovers from the night before took the 3.5 hour drive home with me and was finished for dinner! I got the chopped steak, green beans and fries and everything was delicious and cooked exactly as requested. The only minor inconvenience was there were no condiments or salt and pepper on the table, so you had to wait for the server to come back if you needed them to start your meal.
Keep in mind that the menu does not have a lot kid-friendly dining options. The kids' grilled cheese was more like thick toasted bread with half-melted cheese, definitely not a cheesy grilled-cheese that you would expect at home. If I would have noticed before we got back to the room, I would have asked them to remake it or for something else. My daughter took about 3 small bites and was done. I didn't try it because it was hard.
Overall, if we were in Lake City again, both the Inn and Bistro would absolutely be where we patronized! I wish it wouldn't have been 50 degrees outside because there is a beautiful patio area that we couldn't take advantage of in the cold. It would be a nice spot for a date!

Not a bad word to be said.

ADA suite was the best ADA room I've stayed in with my elderly mother. Plenty of room for her transport chair to maneuver around in. One suggestion, if possible, is to provide a rail on both sides of the toilet (even if it has to be the ADA rail that attaches to the base of the toilet). One thoughtful and helpful aid was that the bed was a little lower than what has become a standard of highrise beds in hotels. The lower bed aids in the ability of those that need to stand, then sit on a bed. When a bed rises to waist height, you can't sit, you either have to climb or be lifted. Great job Ms. Moore, on your lovely and thoughtful accommodations for our Merry Olives weekend gathering.

Very nice hotel, very nice rooms with actually good AC. Breakfast was nasty though. I had a soggy gas-station tier pastry and a croissant that I ended up spitting out into the toilet.
Rooms: Great rooms, good AC!
Food and drinks: Fancy dinner, underwhelming and nasty breakfast.

What a gem! Beautifully decorated place with incredible art everywhere. Lovely courtyard and spacious, clean rooms. Staff were very friendly and provided excellent service.
Walkability: In the heart of town with several places within easy walking distance.

I recently stated at the Inn while in town for a training class. I was so impressed at how friendly every single employee was to the guests. The staff here really goes above and beyond to make sure guests are taken care of. For example, it was raining and the lady at guest services gave me her umbrella so I could walk to dinner and back. My last night I ate at the restaurant inside the hotel and the steak was amazing. Linda, the bartender, not only remembers the name of each guest but also their last drink order. So very impressed with this Inn!!
Rooms: Rooms was very clean.

We had never been to Lake City SC before. Cute little town, very eclectic. Reminds me of a mini Charleston. Lots of art to see, beautifully set up city with plenty of places to sit. We stayed at the Inn at the Crossroads. Beautiful place, good continental breakfast. Reminded me of The Vendue in Charleston. People were friendly, lobby is airy and full of art pieces. Good continental breakfast

Lovely establishment. I stay with a friend during hurricane Debby. The lovely guest representatives Nickey, Derrick, and Bonnie did a great job of assisting me. They stand out when i visit the hotel anf bistro and the gentlemen served me. He was super sweet. To the general manager good job sir or madam to pick the perfectly designed crew. Thank you.
Rooms: Clean clean.
Safety: A easy peace of mind.

This is the 3rd year we have stayed at The Inn in Lake City and each year we have had the best experience. Our son shoots Sporting Clays and we attend the Junior US Open at Backwoods Quail Club each year in June. The hotel and the courtyard is beautiful and the rooms are so clean and comfortable. The staff is also so nice and accommodating. The restaurant in the hotel is also top notch! The hotel is also convenient as it is in walking distance to restaurants and adorable shops. Highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area!!!

Amazing experience. A wonderful hotel that I would have never heard of. We were staying in Edisto and making our way to Myrtle Beach and me and my wife were looking for a place to stay. We tried multiple Best Western comfort inns and other chains and we're all either booked or wouldn't pick up the phone because they were booked. Leaving us stranded. We found The Inn at the Crossroads and are so glad we did! Wonderful service and wonderful rooms. It feels like I should have paid so much more for the night. The price was great! We were going to stay in a motel for the same price we paid. The chain hotels wanted 300-400 for one night and didn't have availability anyway. Will come back to lake City just to further explore due to this hotel.

This wonderful place is a hidden gem and frankly, I hope it never loses its charm and luster. Upon entry, I was at aw with the beautiful environment,
and unlike traditional hotels, the cleanliness and beautiful artwork and reflexes the sweetness of Lake City. Not only is the inn breath-taking but I was greeted by some of the warmest, kindest people first Derrick, who took the time to not only check me in but provide some history of the inn then pointed out key areas that I need to know the following day.
Next, throughout my stay Davion took my order. And with such a gentleman by being patient while I decided on the menu, I heard another make similar comments about him. Lastly, as I was checking out Felicia, was so pleasant ensuring that I enjoyed my stay and welcome me back. These comments I mentioned are becoming so rare in the hospitality industry and the combination of the Inn, the location and customer service makes this place a diamond. Thank you, and I will be back.
