Very nice place and very nice staff. This is my third or fourth time here. All hotels should be this good

Had the most enjoyable stay. The staff is so friendly and helpful. You walk out the front door and you are on Main Street to explore downtown, and it is so easy to walk and explore. There was also a very nice breakfast for guests.

Have never stayed overnight. Have enjoyed beverages in the beautiful courtyard.

Nice little place. Not too pricey for a night either. Outside is quite deceiving. Room is nice and spacious, it’s clean, beds are comfy, ac is working and they even got a mini fridge. And the front desk lady is really kind.

We had a wonderful experience staying at The Inn At The Crossroads! Though not all of Lake City is created equal, this hotel is located in a very safe part of it. We had made previous lodging arrangements elsewhere that fell through, but the kind staff allowed us to check in at 1am in the morning and stay the week. Upon entering, we were blown away by the beautiful decor inside, and later discovered a gorgeous enclosed courtyard for hotel guests only. Though the rooms are pretty standard, the showers are incredible, and they do have mini fridges. There is a microwave for guests located in the lobby as well. There is also a restaurant on site - the food isn’t bad but nothing blew us away, which is to be expected from hotel dining. Much like the restaurant food, the complimentary breakfast was good enough - it did the job and the bagels & cheese danishes definitely stood out. There really isn’t much to do near the hotel - you’ll have to travel at least an hour for that - but we didn’t mind the drive. And though it’s located near the train tracks, the noise was minimal and didn’t bother us much. Overall, we loved the friendliness of the staff, the safe environment and the welcoming, tranquil atmosphere. We would definitely recommend staying with The Inn At The Crossroads!

I-95 shut down due to an accident and rather than sit on the freeway for hours, we decided to stop for the night. We came across this little gem of a place and I'm glad we found this over the chain options. The lobby is beautifully decorated, clean and they have easy on-the-go options for breakfast. They also have snacks, soup, and sodas for purchase as well as a microwave for quick meals. Our room was clean and spacious, the bedding was clean, and the fridge was cold. The bathroom is nice, water pressure is great but the counter was a little high for a four-year-old, or a small adult, so the little one had to stand on an upside-down trash can. The bathroom door is tilted so it is dragging on the floor a bit. There seems to be little to no soundproofing or insulation in the floor, and, predictably, we had a hippo above us that seemed to pace all morning. I wouldn't venture out at night as the area seems to be sketchy.

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Inn in Lake City. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome.
Doris from the cleaning staff was such a delight….she made sure our room was spotless and went out of her way to check if we needed anything. Her kindness and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable.
Rachel was also incredibly helpful. When I was struggling to carry coffee back to the room with my hands full, she didn’t hesitate to step in and help. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I really appreciated it. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and check-in was quick. I especially appreciated how quiet the hotel was at night.
The room itself was perfect…clean, spacious, and very comfortable for both me and my husband. We had everything we needed for a relaxing and restful stay.
We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

My fiancé and I recently stayed at The Inn at the Crossroads and had a really disappointing experience. He’s currently on crutches and got stuck in the elevator. When they finally got him out through the employee entrance, no one said a single word. No apology, no concern, not even basic human decency. Just blank stares like it was completely normal.

The hotel is also way overpriced for what you get. It feels like they overcharge simply because they know they’re the only decent option in the area. The service doesn’t match the price at all. On top of that, the noise level was awful—thin walls and inconsiderate guests made it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep.

If you’re looking for accessibility, respect, or even a quiet place to rest, I’d strongly suggest staying somewhere else.

I’m currently on crutches and got stuck in the elevator at The Inn at the Crossroads. When they finally got me out—through the employee entrance—no one said a word. No apology, no concern, just blank stares like it happens all the time. On top of that, the place is overpriced for what you get. Feels like they know they’re the only real option in town, so they gouge prices without offering quality service in return. And don’t expect peace and quiet—the place was loud all night, between other guests and thin walls. If you want basic kindness, accessibility, or actual rest, look somewhere else.

Last night my friend and I got in check in by the front desk shaundae. She is so polite. When I got to the room perfection. The area I was place is so quiet. Love the train. Only thing I wish the hotel have a pool and hot breakfast. I have to find something to for next 2 days.

Great room and place to stay. It is a part of town restoration and renovations. Several construction projects going on.

Not 5 stars because the Barons men came in and tried to pick a fight with a Witcher. Other than that food and service was solid would come back again. (Don’t make a deal with any supernatural entities it’s not worth it)

The Inn is such a gorgeous place, beautiful artwork and set-up. The staff were very nice and professional and brought a nice sofisticated atmosphere. The place was so quiet, you would think you're the only guests. The rooms were comfy and immaculately clean. I clean all surfaces with lysol wipes (even the bathroom floor) and I was thoroughly impressed. The only thing that I think could improve is the breakfast. For $180 a night, I would expect a hot breakfast with dining space. I love breakfast so this was big for me. There were mixed reviews about it so I thought I would give it a shot. There is only one high-top table that another family was seated at. The only thing for breakfast was refrigerated boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee, oatmeal, cereal, apples, individual juices and pastries. There was a microwave and toaster for heating them. Very much a "grab and go" breakfast that I wouldn't have expected in an upscale place.

You can tell that reviews are taken into consideration. There were reviews that I had read prior with suggestions for various things and they weren't an issue while I was there. I would 100% stay there again if I was in the area and hope that breakfast was better the next go-round!

On another note, make sure you try out the Bistro! The food was decently priced for the amount of food and the quality. My leftovers from the night before took the 3.5 hour drive home with me and was finished for dinner! I got the chopped steak, green beans and fries and everything was delicious and cooked exactly as requested. The only minor inconvenience was there were no condiments or salt and pepper on the table, so you had to wait for the server to come back if you needed them to start your meal.

Keep in mind that the menu does not have a lot kid-friendly dining options. The kids' grilled cheese was more like thick toasted bread with half-melted cheese, definitely not a cheesy grilled-cheese that you would expect at home. If I would have noticed before we got back to the room, I would have asked them to remake it or for something else. My daughter took about 3 small bites and was done. I didn't try it because it was hard.

Overall, if we were in Lake City again, both the Inn and Bistro would absolutely be where we patronized! I wish it wouldn't have been 50 degrees outside because there is a beautiful patio area that we couldn't take advantage of in the cold. It would be a nice spot for a date!
