How does a person in leadership and overview of several departments admit to placing barriers against an employees success, admit that they want an employee to hang themself AND violate several personnel polices and still manage to keep their job...better yet, get a promotion?
The Mayor vowed to correct the issue and yet let it persist and then illegally and wrongfully terminated the employee that reported hostility and harassment.
Would you recommend a place like this? Lake City is in need of new leadership, leadership willing and ready to do what’s necessary for the well-being and continuity of its residents and overall success. In current operation, the city is deliberately being setup for failure by those elected and entrusted to secure its future.
The Interim Administrator is not capable of handling his position and blatantly disregards the value and input of the city’s residents and employees. He was also allowed to violate personnel policy without reprimand. While any other employee would have been held accountable and reprimanded accordingly. Favoritism and Inequality have no place in a functioning society and definitely not in city government. Yet this is being established as normal and acceptable in Lake City.
It’s not just, it’s not ethical, and it needs to be addressed. People need to be held accountable!
