We ordered salt and pepper calabash shrimp, fried squash, mashed potatoes and blackened salmon with baked potato and green beans. The portions on the shrimp was large (and we got the regular size) but didn't have much flavor, salmon was a little dry. Fries squash was really good and the green beans were good too. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We'd go back.
This was our first visit here since moving to Lancaster. It appears to be well appreciated but “hidden gem” here. I had the grilled Mahi Mahi, which was flakiest, most savory seasoned and well prepared grilled fish I have ever eaten. The owner recommended returning for the seasonal swordfish, which I think I just might will! Highly recommended this quaint and friendly restaurant.
My husband and I tried this place for the first time since we moved to Lancaster and really hate that we have been missing out on this gem! The exterior looks rough but everything that comes out of this place is great! We had the platter and the country fried steak dinner that was on special. Service was excellent, food was delicious. We will definitely be back!
