We went to there for supper tonight. My husband had his mind made up he was gonna get hamburger steak, mashed potatoes & macaroni. I was deciding between a hamburger or philly cheesesteak plate. He decided after we got there to get the shrimp & grits. He said it was delicious! I ordered a chili cheese hamburger plate. I forgot to specify that I wanted mayonnaise only as a condiment. The nice young lady that brought it out insisted on taking it back. I declined & simply asked for a little mayonnaise. The waitress brought me a whole brand new cooked chili cheeseburger with a ramekin of mayo to go FREE!!
Food was good my kids even ate there and they are picky eaters.

Ate lunch today, looking at the bill.
4 teas cost $15.16 !! A chili hamburger had a patty on it like a dollar menu patty at McDonalds.
We noticed that the crowd was down, and now we know why !!
We are so done with The Clock

The food was overpriced for the quality. The time to get food was longer than I thought it should be as it wasn't busy in there. Just not my best dining experience.

Always have to stop by this place when I'm in the area! The biscuits tastes like the homemade ones my great grandmother used to make when I was younger!
Something about the food just didn't taste right

Restaurantji Recommends
Food was decent, overall. Biscuit was phenomenal. Gravy was from a packet. Service was absolutely top-notch.
While I understand a restaurant can not be held responsible for the behaviour of other patrons, being glared at while having racist and nasty things said loud enough for my (different ethnicity) partner and I to hear made the overall experience my first and last visit.
I realize this area prides itself on holding on to antiquated hate, but it's 2024, not 1964. The content of a human's character is never reflected in the color of their skin, but it's definitely shown in how we treat others.

Ordered take out. Have ate at this location quite a few times and the food was ok. But that being said the food that we got tonight was by far the worst food I have ate in a while and the cost for the crap we got was 50 dollars. If your going to charge 5 star prices then the food has to be at least 3 star

We gave the Clock of Laurens a second chance a few months after the desk employees laughed and mocked my appearance the first time we went.
We spent $87 on food for 3 people; 3 entrees with sides and 2 appetizers. None of us would recommend the food - soggy and low quality.
If you're hungry, we highly recommend Scurry's Cafe; it's 5 minutes down the road, they have high quality food at better prices.

Rating this based on my breakfast experience ONLY. They appear to have a vast menu for all but breakfast. The country fried steak's breading was too thick and the grits were watery. Eggs and hash browns were good. Service was superb! I will definitely try their lunch and dinner options as, like I said, they seem to offer quite a bit. I doubt I'll be back for breakfast. I'd sooner drive the extra 10 minutes to the Waffle House on I-385.
