Tacos & Bla Bla Bla

Woof.
I hate to review bomb local places, I really do. I have been dying to try this place for years - I live a little bit away but I always have seen it bustling and heard good things. Today I was finally in downtown Laurens so my gf and I placed an order and I picked it up. We headed to the park to eat.
Holy moly.
My quesadilla was in a LITERAL POOL or ORANGE GREASE. it was dripping off of it like as if it was sauce. I got halfway through it and almost threw up. They gave use 5 little napkins and I soaked through 4 of them on half of a SMALL quesadilla just trying to make it edible. The lettuce inside it was liquidified.
My GF picked the beef and some veggies out of her burrito. It was such a shame. Even moreso bc we paid extra for extra veggies of basically all kinda and it was like.. a skimpy bit of lettuce and onions.
DROWNING in grease.
I want to say the flavors were ok?
But it was so greasy you couldn't really taste anything.
Taco Bell is less greasy. And a lot cheaper. And I know Taco Bell doesn't compare to mom & pop Mexican places. THAT'S THE PROBLEM.
These shouldn't be on par with each other, and *yet*.

The place was empty during lunch hours when I went in, which I thought was strange, but the staff was friendly, as far as I could tell.
I no longer think it's strange the place was empty.
I'm genuinely so sad to have to leave a review like this. But the grease was so insane. There's a solid layer of it still in the takeout box. If I had thrown $35 in a garbage can at least I wouldn't have been sick all afternoon. Yikes.

I didnt like. The funnel cake fries were good. I tried the birria tacos and they seemed a little watered down not very flavorful.

When I have to travel to Lauren’s for work I always go to eat here and they never disappoint

It's ok. Not what I expected. Food was ok.

I had the absolute sweetest employee I believe she said her name was Ashlyn but she was very kind and respectful I was already having the worst night and she just made my night so much better without even knowing. Over all their food is great and I’ve never had an issue with anything.

Food was great....service not so much....staff occupied with soccer game on TV. Got the bang bang shrimp tacos, burrito, (HUGE) Grilled chicken salad. Everything tastes super just wish staff paid more attention to orders...did not receive all i ordered (got cilantro when I asked not to)......did not receive the corn. Not sure if I will try again or not.

I know it was a slow night and I believe it is probably much better on a prime night. The food was great, service was order and they bring the food so not much. However, it will not prevent me from going back!

I came to Laurens for business, I saw this place and decided to try it. It is absolutely amazing, they definitely give you more than enough to fill you up and it is delicious. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I love almost 4 hours away, but I will definitely drive those 4 hours back to have this delicious food.

Called to place an order for pickup and guy talked so fast it was hard to understand; asked for jalapeño sauce for chips and got verde in the bag instead; fajitas aren't cooked like they should be (shrimp is raw and beef is gray); no way were there any seasonings (see picture for what all I added for flavor); hardly any vegetables (mostly cilantro and onions); had to come home and cook the food myself to eat it

Great food, great service, amazing service. My wife and I stopped in to the Laurens taco bbb and nachos and torta sandwich and must say it's the best tasting value in town, the cashier advised us about the money saving combos which was nice and our server "Jr" was also great.

Had the "Tacos Cascabel". So freaking good. Best Tacos Ive had in a long time. Wonderful service, clean comfortable atmosphere. You owe it to yourself to try it. Nice little gem here in Laurens.
