This is probably one of five reviews I’ve ever written—and definitely the only negative one. I’m not a “Karen” who complains online for fun. I mind my own business. But this review practically wrote itself.
Laurens doesn’t have many food options, so my family ends up here about once a month for dinner, usually between 4pm and 8pm. Day shifts are mostly fine—I’ve rarely had issues earlier in the day—but the afternoon and evening shifts consistently struggle, especially with big orders like ours. We’re a big family, so our order is usually $50–$80, and somehow someone always has an attitude—and something is always missing. We’re never rude back; we understand that people have bad days.
But tonight genuinely made me wonder if “disrespectful” and “incompetent” are part of the hiring criteria at this point.
My younger sister went through the drive-thru alone and was told they were “too backed up” to make chili cheese fries—like that’s somehow outrageous. Then the drive-thru worker hit her with an “Ugh, oh my God” mid-order, as if taking an order at a fast-food job is some kind of personal attack. She drove off upset because she doesn’t know how to stand up for herself, which only made it worse.
She got home with multiple items missing… again. Which, at this point, is pretty on brand. It’s a lot easier to ask for missing food when you’re not bracing for eye-rolls and snark. Another family member had to go back and get the missing items.
I’ve worked fast food. Plenty of people have. It’s not glamorous, but it’s also not rocket science. If doing the job you applied for feels like torture, that’s not a customer problem—that’s a you problem. Maybe it’s time to find a job that doesn’t involve interacting with actual human beings.
I’m not going to say ‘you’ve lost a customer’—Baconator fries are my weakness—but I shouldn’t have to use basic human decency as a lesson for a worker getting paid to complain.
Bare minimum effort isn’t too much to ask.
Do better. It’s genuinely not that hard.

Always fast and friendly service, especially during breakfast hours when you might be in a hurry and need to get in and out quick. Food is good, pretty much what you would expect for Wendy's. Overall great place to stop for food.

This place gets worse every year. It is so sad and depressing to see the conditions of this park. I would like to know where all the money is going. That was allocated for our parks, because if you look around most of them are not being kept up.So somewhere that money is going to something else or someone else

Currently sitting in line waiting to place the mobile order for over 20 minutes. Not yet at the speaker. Would have been more worth my time going to simpsonville instead.

The worst Wendy’s experience I’ve ever had. Not sure what happened to the Taco salad but was a giant rip off. Run by a bunch of rude teenagers.

The bathroom was awful it smelled of urine and was not taken care of. I went to order at the counter. The counter person had to be told twice by another employee that they where goofing off with that a customer was there. He then told me I had to order from the kiosk. The one kiosk said it was on a break and the other was frozen. I alerted the staff and was given an eye roll and less then desired attitude. I left the place is dirty not kept the staff is lazy with crap attitude and do not value or care about the customer. Spend your money at a better restaurant that will appreciate you.

If I could leave ZERO stars then I would ! In fact I would leave a square ! I went through the drive through and the young lady had a terrible attitude. In fact I left. Maybe Wendy’s need to take my time training their ignorant drive through staff! I was very displeased. Also they didn’t even have any salads available. Overall the experience was ridiculous.

Wendy's in Laurens opens whenever they get ready! Website says opening hour is 6:30 am, staff says they open at 7:30, 7:42 and they still aren't taking orders. Waste of time! They lack work ethics to the fullest!

Way too much mayonnaise on my Jr Bacon Cheeseburger. Fries are always cold, and I guess they don't know the difference between Fanta and Hi-C. If you hate your job that much or can't complete a simple task, then please don't work in the food service industry.

We don’t get fast food a lot—fries were mummified and unseasoned. Burgers were gray and dried out—stale everything. $45 for a family of 4–we ended up feeding it to the chickens.
