All seafood tasted freezer burned and was over cooked. Fried oysters tasted muddy- definitely not fresh. We didn’t formally complain but the nice waitress wanted to know why we didn’t want to-go boxes for nearly untouched plates. We were honest about what we thought and they were nice enough to comp the entrees. My wife and I vomited it all up later. Don’t go!

My fish and vegetables came out cold, my hushpuppies were hot and the only good thing. The menu says everything is done fresh, my vegetables were definitely made from frozen, and there was no flavor and mush. I asked for my whitefish and veggies to be heated up, BTW was very hard to get waitress so my family was pretty much done by the time I received my food back, Fish was not good and again veggies were from frozen. Terrible. First and last time we will come. We came because our daughter wanted crab legs for her bday. Disappointed.

So, in case you're new to my reviews, I grew on the coast of SC. My wife and I grew up eating seafood in Murrells Inlet. It was the seafood capital of SC for many years. I know good seafood when I find it. This is a very clean and quiet restaurant. Booth seating. They are roomy enough for four, the tables are wall mounted, no wobbling or knocking knees! Cozy for a couple side by side roomy for two face to face. The service was great. The staff is very polite and professional. Our server, Alexis, was very attentive and polite. We got the fried mushrooms with ranch as an appetizer. Served piping hot in a boat shaped basket. Seasoned well. We enjoyed it. We both ordered the broiled seafood platter. Everything was hot and seasoned well. The fish was flaky and fresh. The scallops and shrimp were very good. I'm not big a fan of clams, but their stuffed clam was awesome. It won me over. The stuffed crab was great as well. The hush puppies are finger shaped and light, fluffy and tasty. We both liked the sweet tea, very important detail for southern dinners. This dinner was to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary. This will be our go-to seafood restaurant for the future. They have a full bar, a warm and cozy atmosphere, and I think you should give them a try. Large menu to choose from. I know you'll find something good here.

Fried food is over cooked. Steam dish, the fish is very small. Not worth the price. The floor needs sweeping. It has food and tissue on the floor. The floor looks unpleasant and the refrigerator when you come in needs cleaning where they store the cakes. I will never eat here again. Ugh??

First and last time going here. Scallops had absolutely no color on them and needed salt. The scallops were also not prepared properly as the side muscle was not trimmed off as anyone good seafood place knows to do. The Hush puppies were bland and look like something I’d buy in the freezer section. Not to mention that they put them in the juice from the scallops so one side of the hush puppies were completely soggy. There were crab shells in the crab stuffed mushrooms. Coleslaw came with both meals but we weren’t given any and would have preferred to substitute a vegetable for it but that was not allowed. Salmon portion was smaller than expected. Sweet mashed potato is literally sweet potato in a bowl without any brown sugar, butter or anything and was very bland.
