My girlfriend and I recently enjoyed a date night at Ember’s, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the service was second to none—prompt, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Every member of the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of.
The food was absolutely amazing—each dish was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. You can really tell that a lot of care and attention goes into every detail, from presentation to taste. The atmosphere was upscale yet comfortable, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable evening.
Overall, Ember’s delivered a five-star experience in every way. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, impeccable service, and a truly enjoyable dining experience.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Lexington, Ember Steakhouse delivers an upscale dining experience that's equal parts sophisticated and approachable, transforming a charming small-town setting into a slice of big-city elegance. The ambience here is nothing short of enchanting—warmly lit interiors with thoughtful renovations create a cozy yet refined space, perfect for a romantic evening or a celebratory gathering. The subtle glow from the signature wood ember grill adds a mesmerizing focal point, infusing the air with a faint, inviting smokiness that sets the tone for an unforgettable night out.
As for the price, it's firmly in high-end territory, with entrees like the hand-cut steaks and seafood towers easily pushing the bill toward the upper range for a special occasion meal. That said, the value shines through in the attention to detail and premium ingredients; it's the kind of investment that feels justified when every element exceeds expectations, making it ideal for those seeking something beyond the everyday.
The quality of the cuisine is exceptional, showcasing a menu that's thoughtfully curated around freshness and flavor. From the expertly aged steaks seared to perfection on that ember grill—tender, juicy, and bursting with rich, charred notes—to the sustainably sourced seafood like seared scallops and lobster tail, every dish arrives as a work of art. Sides and starters, such as house-made pastas or creamy burrata, complement the mains seamlessly, while the creative cocktails and extensive wine list elevate the entire affair with balanced, inventive pairings.
What truly sets Ember apart, however, is the high quality of the staff—from the knowledgeable bartenders crafting flawless drinks to the servers who anticipate your every need with genuine warmth and expertise. Their seamless attentiveness turns a meal into a personalized event, ensuring you leave feeling not just satisfied, but truly pampered.
Overall, Ember is a gem that's quickly becoming a must-visit in Lexington. If you're craving elevated steakhouse fare in a welcoming atmosphere, this is your spot—five stars without hesitation.
If I was able to rate higher than 5 stars I would! I would HIGHLY recommend Cork and Cleaver to anyone. This was our first time visiting and The food was phenomenal along with the service and atmosphere. The food was extremely fairly priced for the amount you get and the quality. All in all this place is definitely at the top of my list now. We got the prosciutto fontina as an appetizer and honestly is was to die for. I got the Hyde Sxperience as a drink and it was very flavorful. I got the lamb chop special and it was very tender and the sweet potato has bed the chops were on were amazing, it’s a shame it’s not a regular menu item. My husband got the 12oz NY strip and baby potatoes and said it was the best steak he’s had. Our server Kevan was extremely attentive and kind and helpful. We were celebrating our five year wedding anniversary and at the end of our meal they brought us over a card that was signed by the entire staff. Amazing place. Thank you for an amazing anniversary meal. We can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I have visited Ember Chophouse 2x since they opened, both experiences were superb! We love the beef tallow fries that are served before appetizers and entrees. The cocktails are excellent, servers are friendly and professional, food is made so fresh and they source local produce!!! Ambience of dining room is intimate and cozy. 10 out of 10 for us, if you haven’t tried this place, you need to!! Quality people, quality, food, quality time!

Had such a great time at Ember! We started our night with the rock shrimp and it was amazing. The filet was cooked perfectly, so tender and flavorful. The lobster mash potatoes were super creamy, and the brussels sprouts are a must try! Our bartender/server John was awesome, he was super attentive and made our drinks just right. Definietly a great date night spot! What a great addition to Lexington!

We ordered the ribeye, a shareable side, the mushrooms, and an appetizer (small but mighty), and chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was okay except the ribeye. It didn’t have much flavor, was a little overcooked, and not tender at all. I was a bit disappointed because I was excited to try a new restaurant for my wife’s birthday, but I could have cooked a much better ribeye for a third of the price. If I’m gonna get all dressed up and spend $60 for a steak then it should be as good or better than something a novice (me) can cook in a cast iron with just salt and pepper. I’m going to Cork and Cleaver for the next birthday celebration (even if they got a C on their health inspection, it’s worth the risk).

We celebrated our anniversary last night. Our adult children joined us and everyone enjoyed their meal. The creamed spinach was nice, the mushrooms and au gratin potatoes were outstanding. I had grouper and mussels while everyone else had a steak. Very nice for a special night out.
