Firehouse Subs Lexington

I just got home from ordering a hook and ladder salad - I told the person taking my order how many dressings I wanted - when I got home it was half the amount I requested. The amount of dressing in those little cups doesn't add up to a damn spoonful! Listen to your customer's and honor their request - for that I rare the service below average

Easy to order online, was ready to pickup on time! Food was delicious!!

Every table was dirty and some of the staff was friendly. Subs were cold.

We placed our order ahead of time and arrived after the estimated pickup time. The employee explained he was working alone and running behind, which I understood, so I said I’d wait in the car. After another 15 minutes, I went back in only to learn the order still hadn’t been started. A second employee eventually arrived and began helping.

The restaurant itself was messy and unorganized, so I waited outside again until I saw the order placed on the pickup rack. When I got home and gave my wife her sandwich, we discovered it had been made with no meat at all.

We’re regular Firehouse Subs customers and usually enjoy the food and service, but this location fell far below the standards we’ve come to expect.

I went in the Lexington Firehouse and ordered one turkey sandwich (lettuce only) at 8:10 pm and left the restaurant without food at 9:05 (I was unable to wait any longer). Although I counted at least four people behind the counter, it appeared one employee was preparing ALL the sandwiches but looked to be doing everyone else's job too. Others patrons who came in before me appeared to have similar waits, though 2 groups that walked in after me received their food (one finishing their meal) prior to me leaving.

Went to pick up a pick-up order for my spouse’s mother (1 sandwich). Order was placed well in advance and still took almost 40 minutes to make. They seemed to be behind on orders, but with about 3-4 people behind the counter, only one seemed to know what he was doing while the others just did the bare minimum as they may have been new or just lost.

This review is for the Lexington SC location. I have eaten at this location twice - my visits were at least a year apart both times the dining room was filthy. There were plenty of employees both times I was there but instead of cleaning tables or sweeping floors, they were talking. At my last visit there was something leaking from underneath the soda machine. The puddle of liquid looked as if it had been sitting there for some time. The soda machines were filthy with various flavors of soda splashed everywhere. I shudder to think what it looked like behind the food counter where they prepare the sandwiches. I won't ever eat at this location again.

Went into Firehouse subs this evening to get a sub (7:30ish) Restaurant was not busy, 3 male employees, and two other couples (customers) in at the time (1 seated eating while other was waiting on subs). After ordering, I waited and watched as 5 other people came in and ordered after me. I waited more than 25+ min. for a medium Cajun chicken sub. When my order was ready, I grabbed my sub and left. As I left, I thought….wow this bag seems awfully light but I truly didn’t give it a second thought. Man, I truly should have, got home, opened my sub and what a disappointment. There is nothing on this sub, a few pieces of chicken (doesn’t cover whole sub and a little lettuce and mayo. I asked that tomato be added, nope absolutely no tomato. If this is what your subs look on a regular basis, I highly doubt I’ll be back and I can’t imagine you having many repeat customers, especially after waiting 25+ minutes while employees seemed to be standing around watching one person. I really hoped for more. Firehouse do better for your customers!!

The you gentlemen that works in the morning and opens up is Awsome and makes the best sandwich and most of the time he's solo.. but team of ladies not so much. They skip on the food doesn't make the sandwiches correctly and they argue with each other..

We had a very large order for a retirement party. Everything was ready on time, the order was accurate and labeled and we will definitely be back!
