Ganbei Japanese Restaurant & Bar

My wife's favorite meal is the Hibachi teriyaki salmon. Tried it myself and it ranks in the top 2 salmon dishes i have tasted. Good food, reasonable prices and food service.

I had tried Ganbei for lunch, and it was so fresh, delicious and healthy I made dinner reservations for my husband's birthday. He loved it! Excellent wait staff and excellent food. Our server added a complimentary fried ice cream with a birthday candle. I highly recommend, and I am a KAREN when it comes to high recommendations.

i hate sushi, sushi is so bad. its not just this restaurant i hate sushi in general. they put fish in my sushi I AM OUTRAGED.

We had Taylor B as our waitress and she was amazing! So polite and welcoming. I enjoy going to places with workers with her attitude. Taylor thank you so much, we always enjoy our night when we have a good waitress/waiter.

Matty our server was awesome. We are new to the area and looking for new places to try out. This place was amazing. The best sushi we’ve had so far. Great food!

Kid-friendliness: We have a 17 month and they all said hi and interacted with him as they passed our table.

Love a good sushi bar. Ganbei has main restaurant seating with separate Sushi Bar in rear. There is a nice size bar on the left as you enter. Pleasant ambiance. I received a complimentary appetizer, but scarfed it up before photographing. Had the smoked squid salad as an appetizer. For main meal, I ordered Sashimi plate with Hamachi (Yellowtail), Escolar (White Tuna), Unagi (Eel), and Ikuru (Large Salmon Roe). Was a bit disappointed that they did not offer the Ikuru topped with Quail egg. Finished off the meal with 4 pieces Nigiri sushi -- Octopus and more Hamachi. ? I saw high chairs and booster seats. Ganbei is in a strip of shops and has shared parking.
