My family and I frequent the Lexington area from Charleston at least twice a month. We always stop for lunch or dinner and have tried Hudson's more than once. The food is a 3 out of 10, at best. The servers and atmosphere are great! The lighting at the buffet is terrible and unnecessary. There really could also be more options on the buffet. Overall, if you're starving, it's not a horrible place. If you can wait, find somewhere else down the road.
This place is legendary. Family tradition to eat here and immediately go home and take a nap!

Great place with large portions. You get a great meal here that actually fills you up - a rarity among quality bbq restaurants.

Stopped in before checking into our hotel on way to the Masters last week —my son and I had the dinner buffet and was impressed! Service was great —food was fresh and just an overall friendly vibe.

The ribs are very good. The skins are great. The burgers are very big and good. The buffet when fresh is very good (depends on what time of day)
Ribs had a nice, mildly sweet, smokey flavor . The ribs are not the most tender, they aren't smoked for long. Mash potatoes and gravy was tasty. Broccoli casserole is ok. They try way harder than most restaurants with the Mac and cheese. 3 sides, 4 bones of ribs, $15. And the plate is heavy! They're not stingy with portions. I will try their very affordable chicken baskets next time. Customer Service was good.
Gosh, I tried the chicken livers and the chocolate delight and want to come back again.

First time eating at this restaurant. Servers were polite but were not particularly attentive. Food.....mac/cheese was terribly dry...fried okra too salty.....ribs hardly had any meat....peach cobbler was VERY DRY to the point it did not even look like peach cobbler. I took one bite of the cobbler. Draft beer was good. Will not eat here again.

Great place, great food and great staff. Place is really cool. Inside and outside sitting available. Depending on when you arrive there might be a wait. We waited roughly 15 mins during the dinner rush. Buffet and menu items available.Kid-friendliness: Family is very welcome
