Lizard's Thicket Restaurant Reviews
Went to the White Knoll location. I ordered a chicken sandwich. Got home opened my sandwich and they pulled the meat off a already cooked bone in chicken breast and put it between a bun. Couldn't tell you how it taste. I threw it in the trash. It looked disgusting seriously. Never ever again.
This review is specifically for the newer Redbank location. We had a late night concert Monday night at the White Knoll High School PAC center and decided afterwards to go to this location. We weren't aware that they closed at 9pm until after we were leaving. Most of our party arrived at 8:15pm but we had some stragglers that arrived at 8:40pm. The entire staff was soooooooo incredible and accommodating, everyone helping each other get drinks, refills, bread and food out soooooooo...read full review

The Lizard's Thicket Restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere with great service and an old-timey feel. The fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and cabbage are enjoyed, although the chicken can be slightly dry and the cabbage has a distinct ham hock flavor. The food may not be extraordinary, but it is consistently good, making for a positive dining experience. Customers describe it as Southern down-home cooking with a good helping of hospitality, and it is a favorite for comfort food at good prices. The fried chicken is highly recommended as the best in the area, and the catfish with cheese grits is also a popular choice. The restaurant is family-owned and operated, serving as a staple in the local area, with friendly staff who work hard to serve fresh food quickly. Parking is plentiful, and their sweet tea is often praised as some of the best around. Overall, it's a reliable spot for southern comfort food with generous portions and a warm, inviting atmosphere.
