Don't ever order the hamburger steak. That wasn't hamburger meat. I asked the waitress what kind of meat it was because it was smooth, she couldn't even tell me, but expected me to eat it. No thanks. I won't be back.

Mine and the wife's go to hometown cooking. We call them ahead of time and walk in and out the door. Great food & service always ! highly recommend 👌 chicken fried steak with gravy &squash casserole is off the chain!

I went there on the evening of New Year’s Day to get the traditional southern New Year’s Day meal. The people there were incredible. That is their busiest day of the year and they had cars lined up all the way around the building and our waiter have been working all day on New Year’s Day and he was still so good to get along with. Funny, personable, a great waiter. The food is always great at Lizards Thicket. Fried pork chop, Black Eyed Peas, collard greens. Excellent!

Good food, priced right. Always great service and great food. Lots of home cooking choices. They were shut down for remodeling, but opened back up now, the place looks good. Go check them out, yeah?

Got breakfast here, waited a good 5-10 minutes and all three of my biscuits were completely cold, the sausage was not even warm, the biscuits were not warm. I mean it felt like my biscuits came out of a fridge, not sure why I waited for cold biscuits, normally have a good experience here but this was horrible.

Dozens of times at this point. My order is wrong when I go through the drive thru and it doesn't match the receipt. It ruins my entire night, meal, and mood when I get home.

And I'm not going back out late with toddlers to fix the mistakes of staff not reading.

Do better. I'm getting sick and tired of this shit. This is the only location I have this issue at.

Everyone’s food was served quickly and was delicious. I did knock off one star because we went most of the meal with an empty drink cup, but the waitress from another table came through for us.

I've always loved LT and make a point to stop when Im passing through the midlands. But when we stopped by Sunday around 230, the service at this location was not pleasing. The hostess was confused with who was doing the seating and the waitress ruahed us along qith our dining experience. And the food portion was concerning as well. Granted we had enough to eat but was not Sunday dinner portions, more like lunch size. Totally not what I remember about previous visits to LT.
