The BBQ was terrible and the slaw was way to salty. You don't even get a #2 dipper of BBQ so portion sizes does not match the price, $13.99 for a pork plate w/ 2 sides. They dont need to put a yellow sauce on the pork, sauce is readily available in the dining room. Food also needs to be AT TEMPERATURE not cold. French fries were eatable. We moved from Lexington 12 years ago and came back and had to come to Piggy Park. The food use to be excellent but there has been a drastic change. I don't like spending $41.68 for self serve service and leaving still hungry.

First time eating here at 6:30 on a Monday evening. I came for brisket and they were out. Also out of my next choice of ribs and out of okra and potato salad as well. Very disappointed to say the least. I opted for pulled pork and chicken tenders. The food came out quick but definitely not impressed for the money ($24 with a drink). I got a 2 meat plate which came with 2 chicken tenders and a small portion of pulled pork. The ranch is store bought. The Mac and cheese was excellent and the slaw was just average. Not sure if I will return.

What a let down. There isn’t anything edible coming out of this building. Paid over $70 for the family to try this place and after we got a horrible welcome from the staff, ordered and then seen e dinning room, I wanted to run.

Let me start by saying.. we have eaten at every Maurice's in the midlands. Including the one I'm complaining about on S. Lake and I20. I don't know what has happened to this location, but it is horrible. About 2 months ago we did dine in and it wasn't very good. Figured it was just an off day so I didn't say anything. Tonight (about 7:45), went in ordered $75 worth of take out. Worst decision ever! Mac n Cheese- hard, dried cheese and the noodles were mush. Brisket- dry and flavorless Chopped BBQ- dry and had a weird taste. The sauce couldn't even help it. Hush puppies- about the size of a quarter and very dark. Hash- SO MUCH GREASE.
What has happened? Very disappointed and won't return.

Always the best service. Everyone is so sweet and treats you with the utmost respect
The food quality and flavor are amazing. I really enjoyed the brisket. People are really friendly and the customer service is top notch. The only downside is inside is dated and not much to look at and outside nothing but a really busy road. However when going to a restaurant it is about the food. The food is awesome.

I order two beef brisket sandwiches and a large sweet tea...it cost me around $30 dollars. The brisket's sandwiches were old and dry, just horrible. I gave my coworker one of the sandwiches....She said it was disgusting...I totally agree!
