Mingos Cookies & Bubble Tea

I had a free cookie and the woman I was attending asked me the number to grab my cookie for free. Before paying... I asked her if she had my cookie for free and she said yes, and it wasn't until she gave me the ticket that I saw that they hadn't taken away my cookie... the truth is that it's the first time I come and the woman has no presentation, she has two different colored socks, she has slippers and a chongo in her hair... it gives the impression that she will put something ugly on the food... I didn't like the attention this time... they should be more demanding with the wardrobe... since it's food...

Came in a few minutes ago (9 of us total) and the girl working saw us and automatically got upset and got an attitude with us and was throwing a fit in the back, and threw a few things in the back and kept looking at us, rolling her eyes. Its a short, skinny girl with blue hair. There was noone else in there other than us and a couple that was already sitting down with their order. She didnt even want to come take our order and when she did, she got an attitude with us and was telling us she was the only one working and we told her it was fine and that we werent in a rush but she turned around and left and was saying things under her breath and threw something else in the back. We just got up and left after that! We have been there multiple times and have never had this problem. We always loved coming here and come often, and today was just a very bad experience!

This rating is only for the bubble tea, I didn’t try the cookies. The boba wasn’t a good texture and the drinks had no ice in them. Also, the boba/topping portions were not very good for what you paid. I am used to paying ~$8 for bubble tea, but this one didn’t feel like it was worth it.

Good vibes, great cookies and drinks, even better staff! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I’ve been bringing my daughter here regularly—about every other week—for quite some time, as it’s always been one of our favorite spots. However, we’ve recently taken a break from visiting, I was disappointed to see the experience has changed.
Our drinks lacked the flavor and quality we were used to. The milk teas had powder or something in them, and my smoothie/slushie was watery rather than rich and blended. The cookies, which we used to love, didn’t seem as well-prepared, and the presentation overall felt rushed and a bit sloppy.
The staff also didn’t feel as warm or welcoming as before. There used to be a wonderful team member—short with red hair—who always made us feel seen and cared for. She was incredibly kind to my daughter and me, and our orders were always perfect when she was around. We haven’t seen her lately, and her presence is truly missed.

That said, we still enjoy the atmosphere and charm of the place and genuinely hope to see things return to the quality and service we once looked forward to.

The cookies are so good and so big. I enjoyed the first bite I took. The service was good and I will be back again. I recommend this place for any dessert carving.

Cookies so-so. Bubble tea great. They don’t keep all the flavor options in stock. Nice staff. Go for a between-meal or after-meal refreshment. Just a cute little visit.

The people here are so sweet and nice. My favorite is the Rose Bubble Tea (Boba)

The staff was so sweet and the place is so cute.. super hot with no ac..: the boba was warm without ice. The cookie was not the best.

The place is so nice and the decorations are amazing! I tried one of their lemonades with boba and was so happy with my decision! It was just amazing! And the color is super cute as well.

We always receive great service at Mingos, but last night stands out! (3/4/25) Took our daughter out for her birthday celebration, and the individual working last night went above and beyond to provide my daughter with special care. It was so sweet to see her day be boosted in such a way. Thank you for the great and loving service! We will continue to refer your business!

My favorite spot for boba 🧋 and my husband likes their cookies! Briefly they had gluten free cookies and I wish they would bring that back. They were always sold out and then suddenly stopped serving them at all. Very sad for those of us with food allergies.

The best cookies!! We tried the boba too. Also delicious! They have good quality tapioca, I hate when other places tapioca tastes like gel/gritty. Theirs has great flavor and texture. The cookies are warm and soft and literally the best flavor, surprisingly not too sweet even though they look like they would be. And HUGE!! They put crumbl to shame fr. Definitely if you’re in irmo/lexington try these guys out! The girls at the counter we’re nice and also patient with us asking questions 🌸

Amazing employees! My daughter spilled her drink everywhere and it made a huge mess. She was so embarrassed and on the verge of tears, both employees without hesitation came over and reassured my daughter that it was no big deal and happens all the time. They remade her drink and cheered her right up. Kira and Scarlett, you both will go far in life with your kindness and positive attitudes. This world needs more compassion, thank you girls for showing us that today.
