Was told by a friend of our church that the owner of this restaurant belittled a person/employee who passed due to an overdosed. That is sad and I feel extremely sorry for her and how she must have so much rage inside to speak so terribly on such a sensitive situation. The parents will find out about this and karma will come. God gives justice. Hoping in this case it is swift.
Usually love Miyos, not sure if cause Lesington is closing they are trying to get rid of food. But got take out there yesterday and it was awful. Saturated in grease, old lobster, just disgusting.....sad!
One of my favorite spots to go to. The food is always delicious
Good Asian food. But, they told us that Miyos is closing in a couple of weeks as the owner focuses on his/her key restaurant, M Vista, in Columbia, S. C. on Lady Street.
Well, we are going to have to add this to our list of one and dones. For starters, the place is kinda grungy. There was lots of old food spatter on the walls in our booth and the table was sticky, the seats are broken in to the point of having holes. We really wanted to find a new place to love, this did not hit the mark.
Delicious and inexpensive lunch! Would post pictures but forgot to take them! Next thing I knew, it was all gone! Ask for Ian. Too notch server!
Egg drop soup was served slightly warm. I asked for the hot soup. They brought back the same bowl microwave with black pepper that I put on top. Very bad service!
First time visiting this location and I ordered carry out. I ordered sushi and a crab salad. It was very delicious. The service from the bartender when my order was placed could have been better. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Customer service is what really matters.
It's OK. I got a General Tso chicken with white rice, dinner portion, plus a California roll. Both dishes were OK, but lacking flavor.
Joy and happiness abound with the consumption of cold noodles & salmon! Delight dances on the tongue with tasty tid-bits of schezwan shrimp!

The food is always fresh and tasty, but the service is consistently slow, slow, slow. While I have never had a rude server, they are not able to serve us in a timely manner. Drinks are only re-filled when we ask - and that is after waiting 5-10 min for them to reappear in the dining room again. I come here every couple of months while visiting friends, but it's always the same story. We might start meeting elsewhere.
Living in Lexington for 6 years now, we have done the round of all restaurants. Only a handful makes it to our list of 2nd visits... Miyo's is definitely one of our favorites. I am addicted to their vegetarian eggplant dish, and my wife loves the sushi.
1st time here and food was great, little spicy, but good. Nice atmosphere, has a small bar. Server Savannah was very nice.
Pleace was dirty and staff unprofessional. Making out in the kitchen is no good, I am sure DHEC would love this!
Miyo's is my favorite place in Lexington to get sushi. They have the freshest tasting sushi in Lexington. Only closest is Publix. Yes. The grocery store. The atmosphere is cozy. The waitress is so pleasant. She will answer questions and help you with your decision. Cannot ask for more than that.
