Having lived through the 60s and 70s, I found Momma Rabbit's to have a vaguely (and I mean this is a positive sense) "older hippie" vibe going for it. A bit eclectic. Older crowd (at least, when we were there). Popular, too, as there was a (short) wait. Good food.

Had another wonderful brunch with my wife today at Momma Rabbits. This place always has professional service and quality food. I especially enjoyed talking with Mrs. MANDY AKA MOMMA RABBITS, lol.

The food was okay but the owner is arrogant and goes around telling people he’s perfect. Honestly the food was okay but the whole atmosphere is weird.

First time visiting momma rabbits today. Food was fresh. Good selection of different items. Dessert was fantastic. John Allen and Virginia were extremely courteous and kind. Will definitely go back. It is a smaller establishment that customers should be courteous to the owners and staff that want to make money by turning over tables and getting more customers. Sitting and occupying a table for hours is not courteous at any establishment met alone a small cafe.

We had delightful experience celebrating our son’s high school graduation event. Our guests loved the atmosphere, unique/creative decoration and profesional service.
Thank you John and family for always being so loving and caring to our family.

I didn't know one owner that runs tables off or asks paying customers to leave until now. You won't survive long! Especially since the establishment has recently been begging for business in order to stay open. God don't like ugly!
Momma rabbit review
My friends and I ate brunch here today. We stayed longer than we planned enjoying mimosas and conversation. Our checks were brought out to us before a few of us were done ordering drinks. Shortly later, the hostess came over and asked us to take our conversation outside because they needed to seat other people at our table. We were taken aback that a restaurant would ask us to leave without taking into consideration that everyone at the table had tears in their eyes because of the sensitivity of the story being shared by one of my friends. We left a few minutes later.
Instead of leaving and coming on here to leave a horrible review, I decided to call the manager to just give her a little backstory and let her know that asking paying customers to go outside wasn’t appreciated.
I told her we have all been friends since elementary school and got together today to laugh, reminisce and comfort one of our friends that tragically lost her 10 year old son a few weeks ago. I told her that we didn’t plan to stay that long but we were still ordering mimosas. I told her that at the time she had her hostess ask us to leave, my friend was telling us about life after losing her son. We ALL had tears in our eyes listening when the host interrupted her to ask us to “go outside to continue our conversation.”
I’m not sure what I was expecting her to say. Maybe a simple “I’m sorry” would have sufficed. Instead, she told me that they train their employees to ask people to leave when they notice they’re done eating because they are so busy they have to turn tables over quickly. They “strive to make their restaurant homey and comfortable but people get too comfortable and have even brought in cards and games to play!” She also condescendingly said that they have “no idea what our conversations are about” and they just have to “turn tables over quickly because they’re so busy.” I mentioned to her that it would have been accepted better if she would have read the table and realized we all had tears in our eyes listening to my friend talk about the loss of her son…a parent’s worst nightmare! Before hanging up, I told her that it sounds like they have sooo much business that losing ours wouldn’t matter too much to them.
I’d rather take my business to a locally owned business to support the people in our town. I would maybe expect this treatment from a franchise with larger overhead and profits to make, but not from a locally owned establishment. The past responses to reviews that I’ve just read have confirmed their lack of class and respect for the community. If just one person chooses not to go there because of my review, my day is made!!

Extremely disappointed in our experience at brunch today. We picked Momma Rabbits when planning this reunion of friends over good food & mimosas because it’s always been such a nice place with great service & even better food. Food today did not disappoint. However, while we were still actively ordering drinks & still enjoying our time catching up, we were given our checks & asked to please take our conversation outside so they could clear our table. Please keep in mind that this happened at 1:00, the place closes at 2:00, there were other open tables, & absolutely no parties waiting to be seated at this time. Adding to that, we were in a deep conversation, with tears in our eyes as one of our friends spoke about God & keeping her faith & love for him during the tragic loss of her 10 year old son just a few weeks ago. This employee could’ve easily walked away & come back or pulled one of us aside. Instead, we were asked to go outside. Paying customers who are still actively ordering drinks, enjoying the company of one another, were asked to go outside!! I’ve never experienced anything quite like this. And to make it worse, one of us called to make the manager aware of what happened & she handled it with even less class than her employee. There was zero empathy in her attitude, she made excuse after excuse, & gave zero apology. Not only did this business lose out of money from our group today…they will not get the business from us, our families, or friends in the future. What a shame.
