Nice atmosphere but the food was terrible. We got wings & fish with fries. The frying oil was so dark & burnt I didn't eat it. The portion amount was for a small child.

I ordered the smoked meat plate and got the beef brisket. I really wanted to like this meal but the meat was so full of fat, I was disappointed. Sides were good and so was the barbecue sauce that accompanied the brisket. Our server was fantastic and I liked the atmosphere.

This past weekend my grandson ordered the chicken finger basket. The breading was different then before as it tasted like a seafood breading very light and cripy and heavily seasoned. (had a seafood seasoning flavor)..not good and unedible. . all of the other food we ordered was ery good. Though the service was slow on the back deck we were not in a hurry. See you next time!

It's a really great place. It's kinda a hole in the wall spot but very popular. Great service. Went there on my lunch break and even though they were short staffed they made sure we got service asap.

The server was great. The food and drinks left a lot to be desired. The cheese curds and fries were great. The rest was not good at all, unfortunately. The drinks were watered down. Salad had water in the bottom of the plate. Burger was ordered medium and came out almost black & DRY. So sad because I really want to love this place but I guess I’ll keep looking.

I’ve now tried to like this place! I have been there several times. I don’t know why, but it seems like with the location and the pond behind it. It would be awesome. It is not! The food is mediocre at best. The tables had not been wiped down and were sticky. my wife had a burger and sweet potato fries. The burger was full of gristle and they had sprinkled so much sugar on the fries. They were more like a dessert. I had the BLT and their idea of remoulade is a joke. Do not waste your time! Go there, drink a beer but please do not eat the food.

I went in and had a 10 minute wait which is okay for lunch time. When I was sat, I was given a menu and told a server will be there soon. Having to wait for nearly 30 minutes is unreasonable for the restaurant not to be full. No server came and greated themselves and explain a wait which would have been okay with me. After a while not seeing any service I left. There was no reason for their service to be that poor.

Great atmosphere. Old Mill repurposed as a bar/restaurant. Person at the bar was too busy to chitchat with his friends to really be personalable and the food was ok. The fries/onions rings we ordered were hot, crispy and fresh which set the food above what I rated it originally. The outside seating is where it's at, seeing how it overlooks the lake.
