The kitchen needs to get it together. Our food wasn't good. Over cooked and under cooked. And didn't get our order right .But our server was very nice and helpful

Went to Outback this evening for dinner. When we walked in, we were greeted and told there was a 15-20 min wait. We were a group of 4. While standing there waiting for our table, I counted 11 empty tables on one side of restaurant. As we were waiting other patrons walked in and got seated right away because only groups of 2. Didn’t quite understand that. Never once saw a manager until we were half way finished with dinner. She was walking behind the busboy straightening chairs, coasters, and the tablets on tables. As a manager, shouldn’t she be helping seat, serve, and wait on tables if the restaurant is that far behind?? I’m going to guess the way she looked with her hair up in 2 buns on her head like a 5 year old, that she didn’t care whatsoever about the guests entering the restaurant, in turn paying her paycheck! Probably one of the worst managers I’ve came across in a long time. Just knowing that this is how this restaurant is run, unfortunately we will not return. The food on top of this situation wasn’t great by any means, making this decision just that much easier on not returning. It’s unfortunate, because we are food snobs, love steak and lobster and are extremely generous in tipping when we are taken care of. Hopefully this message reaches higher up, and they’ll reconsider who they have running their restaurant!

We've been celebrating our first 2003 meeting at Outback for the last few years. Since Lexington just recently opened, no more Harbison. As usual, we snagged 2 bar seats. Drink orders were taken and promptly delivered. After a couple of drinks, we ordered food. My wife got her usual Alice Springs Chicken. I switched from my usual steak to the Ribeye. I'll probably stick with the Victoria Filet or Outbreak Prime Rib from now on. The Ribeye was perfectly cooked but ultra fatty and way over-seasoned. You could go across the street to Food Lion and find a better quality Ribeye. Definitely not worth the $28 cost. The Chicken was spot on. Cold, fresh Foster's. Overall good bar service but the 2 servers could be more attentive on drink refills. My beer glass sat empty for close to 10 minutes and no one asked. Little things like that mean a lot to the customer as well as size of the final restaurant tab. Overall good first visit.
It's been about 6 weeks since our initial visit. We celebrated my wife's birthday at the bar. She had a Koala Punch. The drink service has improved. Still a very friendly staff. The currently offered 3 Cheers Meals are an outstanding value. For $23, I had the 8oz. Sirloin with baked potato, salad, and the Chocolate Thunder for desert. Believe me, it's worth the $3 upcharge over the included cheesecake...Chocolate Heaven.
10/25 update...we celebrated our 20th anniversary of our engagement. I had⁹ a large Flo's Filet medium rare with baked potato and broccoli. Perfectly cooked. My wife had the $14.99 Grilled Chicken meal with Caesar salad, broccoli, and Raspberry Cheesecake. Awesome service at the bar, as always.

Food was good but waitress kept forgetting to fix my drink( ordered sweet tea and got unsweetened) after reminding twice I gave up. Finally told staff to just take my order to go. Not to mention I sat the entire time with no silverware brought to me. After something was said I got completely ignored, and then waitress caught attitude with me for leaving no tip on receipt. Will never be back and will advise all family members do the same. I spent 54 dollars to sit there and get shunned in the middle of outback. Absolutely insane!

Update. Return visit. Attentive and pleasant staff. Efficient in taking orders. Food came as ordered. Would suggest having dressing on side of pecan chopped salad. Dressing was excessive and salad very wet. Was quite surprised upon viewing the bill that a glass of unsweetened ice tea was $3.99 as well as coke. So 7.98 for 2 drinks. Will order water if return.
First visit, Friday evening. Chose to sit at the bar and avoid hour wait. Allie, despite being incredibly busy provided very good service. Suggest adding another experience bartender to deal with demand. Food was ok as expected for Outback. Will return to try lunch.

Wow! My first visit to this location and it was nothing short of being absolutely FABULOUS in EVERY aspect. The restaurants interior was so clean and beautiful. My Prime Rib served was the BEST I have had in YEARS and my waitress Olivia was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! For sure I will ask to be seated at her table every time I go. Kudos to all the employees for their roles in providing such a wonderful dining experience.

October 2, 2025 I visited Outback Steakhouse in Lexington, where my server was Olivia S. From the start, she was incredibly kind and attentive. During our conversation, I shared with her that my child’s birthday was the following day, October 3rd, which is also the anniversary of her passing. This is an emotional time for me, and most people might not know how to respond.
About 30 minutes later, Olivia returned with a dessert and explained that she wanted to help me honor and celebrate my child’s day. Her thoughtfulness brought me to tears. For someone so young, she showed an exceptional level of compassion and professionalism. Olivia, you truly made my day brighter. Please continue striving—you are a shining star in this field.
