Ordered the 2 one topping pizzas special (even with the special, prices have skyrocketed under new management!) and asked in both instructions area for Alfredo sauce on one. Picked up the pizza (after waiting quite a while past the expected time) to get home and see NO sauce on the pizza instead of alfredo. I called to ask and they explained "The special is only for one topping. The owner put the order in that way." Sure, but isn't Alfredo a sauce? They have my number and email, they could've called and clarified, or even just charged a little more for the alfredo, instead of just leaving it off. Waste of money for subpar pizza when they could've just communicated with me.

The food tastes good overall. My favorite is the Eggplant Parmesan. Tonight my family ordered takeout. I was very disappointed with the Italian Trio, which this was the 1st time my daughter ordered that dish. The online menu description states the dish has manicotti, stuffed shells, and lasagna. When we got it home and opened it it contained 1 stuffed shell, 1 manicotti, and 2 cheese ravioli instead of lasagna. The portion size was very small in comparison to the other dishes we have ordered before. This looked more like the lunch sized portion. My husband ordered wings and they were overcooked in comparison to the last time he ordered them. Maybe the restaurant was having a bad night but this isn't the quality or portions we are accustomed to for the price.

I went because they are the only ? shop who sell Arincini (Rice Balls) The Arincini is exceptional...I ordered a Small Calzone for my wife...The owners of this location come from Long Island, NY so should know that Calzones come with Ricotta, and Ham...sadly by the time we got home my wife stated that the center of her calzone was cold....there should not be an additional charge for the ham, but there was. I also had to explain what a rice ball special is, to the cook...The owners were not present so I was not able to get thier confirmation of these traditional New York dishes...The Meatballs were very well made and would pair perfectly as part of a riceball special...The employees were extremely polite and a pleasure to talk to...sadly the Gios Pizza in Irmo does not have Arincini so I drove the 48 minutes round trip to Lexington.

A tour de force in family pizzeria and the chicken parm calzone and Philly are 9.2 out of 10. Fantastic Pizza and servers are always checking on you. They are crazy busy and do a hell of a business!
