I actually remember getting a snoball from this place and my little sister is obsessed with Pelican's Snoballs that she's loyal to the franchise itself

Perfect little place cute little playground and snowballs to enjoy in every flavor I love it here!!

Absolutely awful experience. The service at this location is beyond unacceptable. The employees were extremely rude and acted like it was an inconvenience to even take our order. It took forever to get our snoballs, and there was zero sense of urgency or care for customer service.

What really shocked me was the complete lack of professionalism. People were vaping inside the stand — I could clearly see them holding and using their vapes while working. I even found some of the same workers posting about it on social media. It’s disgusting and not something anyone should have to witness when trying to enjoy a treat with family.

Management needs to seriously step in and clean this place up. I won’t be returning, and I definitely won’t be recommending it to anyone.

Hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at any dessert spot. The staff at Pelican’s Snoballs were shockingly rude — no greeting, no smile, just a group of employees acting annoyed to even be there. They were loud, disrespectful, and looked completely unbothered while getting my order completely wrong. When I pointed it out, they acted like it was my fault and didn’t even bother to fix it.

As for the snoballs themselves? Absolutely disgusting. The texture was pure ice — crunchy, flavorless, and barely any syrup. It felt like chewing on freezer burn. Nothing enjoyable about it.

The whole place felt like it was being run by people who couldn’t care less. Total waste of time and money. Never going back, and I’d strongly suggest you don’t either.

I have always taken my kids to Pelican's, but I had never gotten one for myself. I tried one for the first time a few weeks ago. They are so good and have so many flavors to choose from.

Come here a lot! Always love the workers and the snowcones.

We've been to this location several times since moving to Lexington and each time we've gotten Snoballs with barely any flavor. We thought that maybe it was a once or twice type of thing but it's been every time that we've come. We're huge fans of Pelicans however this location drops the ball in regards to product. Most complaints are about service being slow but we don't mind that. We'd just like to have a satisfying amount of flavor instead of tasting mostly plain ice.

The grandkids love going to P. Probably could update their activities they have outside.

Great product and price, but why don’t you have bathrooms. Most of your customers are kids and families. Kids use the bathroom all the time. Such an inconvenience that you don’t have restrooms for customers, makes no sense.

Great frozen ice treats. Love the cotton candy flavor.

My boys like this place so much they asked for jobs there. They are 7 and
9 years old.

Went with local friends while visiting from Garner, NC. Kids enjoyed their treats and playing on a hot summer day!! Loved the outdoor activities, though the sandbox could really use some fresh play sand. We didn't mind the honey bees at all!! Was pretty neat to learn they started in Garner, NC!!

Place is very fun I like the snowcones the employees are very nice but it takes a while for them to make it but I understand though I think they should try to wash the tables it can take a while to find somewhere clean to sit and the cheap games are a little out of place but I'm sure kids like it so definitely a amazing place to come with kids or alone on a hot day (providing wet wips would be a nice thing)
