Rio Express Grill

We had a great time while at dinner. The steak was great as well as the rice, beans, fries, chicken bites, and the peppers. We had a really good conversation with the owner, Bruno. He was very nice and even gave us a cup of peppers after my wife explained how much I love peppers. We will be back.

The food was good and had great flavor! Some of the options were out when we ordered and we didn't get to try everything, but they were making them as we sat and ate what we did get. The ladies behind the counter were very nice and informative and the owner seems like a great guy! I would definitely try this place out if you want good flavored, authentic food. Expect it to be different than the majority of what we have here in the midlands. We will be back!

We will be back. The food was so tasty and delicious. The server, also the owner described everything to help us decide. First you load the sides, the salad and finally the main course. My wife had lamb and I had Brazilian sausage. We are going back.

Best meal we have had in ages! Food was fresh and very flavorful. Best plantains I have ever eaten and the eggplant salad was fantastic. The lamb was marinaded to perfection and not over cooked. Owners were kind and informative. Can’t wait to go back.

Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies some are cooked with pork so I’d ask the owner is also the server so he knows. The eggplant was wonderful and there where two kinds of beans and two kinds of rice.

This place was recommended to us by a friend and it was every bit as good as advertised. It is amazing! My wife and I actually felt like the quality was better than Rioz in Irmo and much cheaper. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Me and my wife went to Rios. She didn’t want to try something new but I talked her into it and I am glad we did! The place has excellent service as we were met by the owner when we walked in and he was very friendly and explained a lot of the menu and even gave us some samples having been that we have never had Brazilian food before. I got a bowl with the sausage and it was amazing and my wife got a bowl with the pineapple and she loved it. You can feel the love that they put into making the food and the place was very clean. I highly recommend going if you are on the fence. We will be back for sure in the future as I am excited to try more of the menu. This place is great!!!

This is an unexpected gem in Lexington. We weren’t really sure what to expect as we walked in but my husband and I were greeted warmly, different dishes were explained (we even got a little history on how one of the items came to be) and the food was absolutely delicious! Can’t say enough good things about my first experience here and I will be going back!

Went to Lexington from Myrtle Beach and got there starving. The delicious smell of grilled meat is very recognizable for me since I grew up with that. Got so excited about the food I ordered everything I saw for my bowl. It was amazing!! Food was so delicious I finished a massive bowl of Brazilian food and went for more! Finished with a flan! 10 out of 10!
