Wasn’t impressed the tik tok review was great but when I went the Mac and cheese noodles was soft only two pieces of meat that didn’t have any flavor. Sauce was good I should’ve drank the sauce an gave the meat back. My grandma had the other plate with turkey wings she liked the 18 dollar plate but greens wasnt good I came all the way from NC and was disappointed. If you don’t really know food you might like but I didn’t eat at your own risk.

We wanted to try Roy’s for lunch. There were two of us, each of us ordered the brisket platter, water and an iced tea. 60$. No joke. The meat was very tasty, sides were average, and no bread. Service was ok, had to go back to the window to get unsweetened tea, back to get ketchup, back to get a fork. Left a 20% tip. Seems like a restaurant that’s gotten complacent.

My boyfriend and I stopped in to check this place out as I seen it in the Irmo News. We wanted grilled chicken but they only had fried chicken.. my boyfriend ended up getting a fried turkey wing and fries. It was $18 for one fried turkey wing and a few fries. I got the rib dinner. I had a really small portion of hash and rice and the rice was on the mushy side. The ribs and chopped bbq was pretty good. I wasn't a fan of their baked beans neither hash. Their food wasn't the worst but definitely not the best I've had and the food was a bit pricey. For the rib plate, chopped BBQ and the turkey wing it was close to $50.00 (never again) The place itself was clean and the staff was friendly... but I won't be returning.

First time here driven past them many times. Had to try the Korean Carolina cheesesteak as it sounded like every ingredient I would love. The smell of the smoker in front of the restaurant was inviting. Inside was no frills, about 10 tables, nothing fancy. Service was excellent and friendly. Sandwich was delicious, good proportions of meat, cheese and roll. My only complaint is that for what it cost it could be a little bigger. It was served on what looks like an 8-in roll, for a $20 sandwich, it should really be a 10 or 12 in roll. I didn't get a side because I thought the sandwich would be more than enough. Left a little hungry. Should have gotten a side.

The Carolina Korean cheesesteak may just be the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten! The homemade pimento cheese melts into the succulent beef, the soft bread perfectly sops up the runoff, and the crispy onions add a nice texture element to take it to the next level. Very thoughtful sandwich construction. Thank you chef, will come out of my way to return!
