as soon as we pulled up, the smell of the grill out front caught our attention. we went with two soul food Sunday specials and let me tell you, this is the best pulled pork I've ever had. Fried okra, mac and cheese and rice and gravy were my sides and all of it was cooked, fried, and seasoned to perfection. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, and we will absolutely be back.

The menu on Google is more extensive than the restaurant actually has. I'm indecisive so that was a plus for me. I came today for the first time but it won't be my last. The workers were sooo nice, attentive and caring. The food was a bit pricey but worth it because it tasted good and again the people were amazing

I went to Roy’s midafternoon after coaching and easily had the best burger you can find in Columbia. I recommend the bacon, jalapeño pimento cheese burger. The sweet potato fries were delicious.

This was our first opportunity to eat at their new location. We were regulars at the old Lexington spot, as it was close to our house. The location is the only change, still outstanding food. All of the smoked items are sauce-free, so you can appreciate the true meat taste. Add sauce, if needed. 2 of my favorite sides are the Mac & Cheese and the Collards. Delicious Sweet Tea. I tried the Carolina Korean Cheesesteak. Interesting mix of flavors. My wife had her normal Chopped Brisket sandwich with a mild red bbq sauce. Generous meat portions on both sandwiches. Give these guys a try!

First let me start by saying the smell of the smoker in the parking lot was enough to make your mouth water. When we walked in we were greeted by Jenna and she is fantastic!! That covers the service. Now to the food. Hands down the best BBQ I've eaten. Seasoned and cooked perfectly, doesn't need sauce!!! The Mac and cheese and baked beans are heavenly!! Will definitely go back frequently

Food especially the Caroline Korean cheese steak was incredible. The chipotle chicken wrap was just okay. However service was rude, the guy Brandon I believe his name ruined the experience. I want to start by saying I also work in food service so I understand the struggles. But he Was short with me, questioned why I left no tip on a pickup order, and didn’t add the bell Peppers onto my cheesesteak like I asked. He was rude as well over the phone when the order was placed. Good food, bad employee.

Wow. Awesome food. Brisket and jerk chicken were amazing. 5 stars because a lot of barbecue places have okay sides, not Roy's. The candied yams, sweet potato fries, collard greens, were amazing. The green beans and Mac and cheese were really good also. Loved everything and will be back.
