We wanted to try Roy’s for lunch. There were two of us, each of us ordered the brisket platter, water and an iced tea. 60$. No joke. The meat was very tasty, sides were average, and no bread. Service was ok, had to go back to the window to get unsweetened tea, back to get ketchup, back to get a fork. Left a 20% tip. Seems like a restaurant that’s gotten complacent.
My boyfriend and I stopped in to check this place out as I seen it in the Irmo News. We wanted grilled chicken but they only had fried chicken.. my boyfriend ended up getting a fried turkey wing and fries. It was $18 for one fried turkey wing and a few fries. I got the rib dinner. I had a really small portion of hash and rice and the rice was on the mushy side. The ribs and chopped bbq was pretty good. I wasn't a fan of their baked beans neither hash. Their food wasn't...
10 out of 10 highly recommend!! Every time I’m in the area I stop here and I’ve never been disappointed by the food or the service!! The fried turkey wing with their bold and beautiful sauce is top tier!!
