I'm picky about Mexican food, but this San Jose did not disappoint! Don't let the express fool you. This is excellent food, served quickly and with a smile. The salsa bar was fresh and had a good variety. (Note, it is clearly labeled dine in only).
Jorge was so charming, I felt like I was in his home and my comfort and enjoyment of the food his top priority.
The Carnitas and chimichanga was so meaty, we couldn't finish it all! Meat was so tender and flavorful and veggies were fresh and crisp.
Do yourself a favor and visit Jorge's San Jose, you can tell me gracias later!

This is one of our go-to restaurants in Lexington. Service is crazy fast (only complaint is you hardly get full on the chips and salsa because your meal comes out so quickly ??, haha) and the workers are so kind. They are always all so kind and accommodating for our daughter (extra plate, high chair, etc) and check on us throughout the meal. I love the toppings bar when we eat in, which is most of the time since it's so quick. We haven't had a bad experience and are grateful to have them nearby. I usually get the fajita taco salad and I love it. My husband got the chimichanga today and it was also delicious. The fajita meat from my salad is some of the only meat our toddler will eat, so they get an extra point for that! Definitely recommend!

Overpriced and the food wasn't really good, aside from the beans and rice. The chicken was overcooked and dry in the fajitas, yet the peppers were way over-cooked and mushy. Yuck, won't get me again!

I will never go here again. We have eaten inside and ordered online quite a few times. The bald guy with glasses that works there is an idiot! He yelled at me for asking for a to go tray and going to their toppings bar for tacos and filling up a tray. I gave a 5 dollar tip on top of the 33 dollars I paid for the tacos mind you! He then tells me the toppings are there only for guests! Who the heck am I then? I paid you for the food and tipped you and you're going to tell me I am not a guest there and I cannot take toppings to go? For the record I ordered it to go because my son is sick and we didn't want him sitting inside disturbing the other guests! You're going to tell me I'm wrong for taking toppings now! Plus I rent a spot from your boat dock from the owner! I hope this guy gets disciplined and you offer me a refund! The salsa he put in there that's too spicy for my kids dumped all in the bag and on the food but I didn't complain or come back asking for a refund. Feel free to reprimand this guy but also know this! I will never go here again with some disrespect like this!
