This san jose was a favorite-food great, salsa bar great, chips great, service good-would go at least once a week, but after today at lunch no more. Only 1 basket of chips(asked for a 2nd basket 6 different times, no one ever returned with a basket nor ever explain why no 2nd basket!! Salsa bar gone, but can order some for $4!! Food was average, sad the mgr and staff could not tell us a reason for no more chips AND avoided eye contact! Sad, hope they make all the extra dollars they desperately need after raising their prices even! Off my entires family list of places to go every week now!

Good customer service, and a great atmosphere very family friendly and fast service, great food and a dine in salsa bar always adds the extra spice to the experience! Definitely recommend y’all coming and trying this establishment out for yourselves!!

From the moment we were seated, the service was excellent – attentive yet not intrusive. Our food arrived in a flash, and every dish was a knockout! The fajitas for two were especially memorable, a sizzling feast that I can't recommend highly enough.

This was our first visit, great salsa. Quick service and our food came out super fast. We're from El Paso, TX so it's hard for us to find authentic Mexican food. This place was okay. I think had they taken some time to really put our food together better, it might have been better. But we had a big party so I'm sure they were just trying to serve us quickly.

Absolutely amazing, service was extremely quick and all the workers were very nice to me and my family, they had EXCELLENT food and their quesadillas were incredible, I would highly recommend this place for a nice dine in meal

Parking: Very big parking lot, is made of gravel so you might get it in your shoes

Kid-friendliness: They had a good kid's menu that most if not all children would like

San Jose is a chain restaurant of sorts in central South Carolina. The food is always good, because the cheese dip is addictive, but if you go to Monterey's, San Jose or La Fogata, and order a number 20 combo, you'll get the same meal. But it's always good

Parking: Large lot with plenty of room, but it's not paved, all gravel

Kid-friendliness: I was actually there for my son's archery team dinner. he is 12 and is on the younger archers, so I suppose it was more young ladies and men than kids, but they are always family friendly

It's your classic mexican establishment. But they are quick to accommodate large groups and provide good service for what they have to deal with. Food is your classic version of American Mexican food. They do have great cheese dip and some good fajitas.

They usually get you a table fast.
Chips here are normal stale.
They have a salsa bar which is awesome.
You do have to repeat your order several times for them to understand it.
Food comes out quickly and most of the time is correct.

I've had both the carnitas tacos and the lengua tacos and the carnitas were MEH and the lengua tacos were straight up inedible.
