“I recently misjudged this establishment and I wish I could take it back. I thought the place was way to expensive for me as a single mother and commented on a post saying their tacos were too expensive for the average single mom like me. Lord knows I was wrong and would never want to turn business away from anyone. The owner Rich reached out to me and invited me and my son to have dinner on him. That was one of the sweetest gestures and I was enamored. If you know anything about feeding teenage boys who play football, then you know it's not cheap. So tonight I redeem myself and apologize for anything I may have said. This place is amazing and way more affordable than I thought. I mean I don't think you can even get a taco at taco bell for $2.95. That's right. 2.95 yall!! Not to mention, they were overfilled tacos at that. My son loved them. I had a rice bowl and it was nothing but delicious. Now aside from the food, the hospitality was unmatchable. The server that waited on us, I believe her name was Cassy and there was another young gentleman that also helped out. The owners are so lucky to have the both of them on their team. Cassy was an absolute gem. I apologize in advance if I have your name wrong. I could not be more pleased with this establishment. Everyone was so kind and we will definitely be back!! Thank you over and over 10x more!!“

“The best burro around. The six of us sat and ordered carne asada burritos con beans and guacamole. They are huge and so delicious, wrapped in a flour tortilla. The house salsa is thin and very flavorful. They brought radishes, chilis, onions, and limes to the table. Service was quick and attentive. And the burritos were $90. About $5 US. I would definitely return when in Tecate.“

“Today we got ice cream only, but it was delicious. The owner was there working and greeting every customer she could. It was busy because she was giving away ice cream before it went bad. Ice cream melts without electricity. She was without power and instead of seeing it go to waste, she announced she was giving it away!!!!! I didn’t see a customer come in that didn’t leave money, but she was not asking for a dime. Support local. Support small businesses. Wish I could give 100 stars.“
