Debbie was AMAZING!! We had 3 to order the shrimp & grits and when we told her the tasso gravy was not to their liking, she quickly resolved the issue..KUDDOS to her!! She was personable & friendly. Thank You to the ladies that assisted her with our party. The food was GREAT! Steak, chicken breast, salmon & burger were ALL TOP NOTCH! Will be coming back. Must try ALL the desserts...Delicious

Good 'home style cooking!' fast and friendly service! at a fair price.Vegetarian options: The salads are fresh and well portioned with the option to add a protein.

We officially added the root cellar to our go to list of restaurants. We had a great experience and Debbie was the ultimate kind server. Upgraded rating to 5 :)

This is one of my favorite spots for a burger. You can actually get a medium rare patty! The collards make a good side dish. The Southern Egg Rolls are a good appetizer with their homemade bbq sauce.

Average at best. Not impressed. OK food, but service, atmosphere and seating less than what I expected.

Pretty good food though going during peak hours can be tricky. If you got some time off on the early week after a lunch rush you might have the place to yourself and get to try any number of delicious meals at fairly reasonable prices. Cute decor and good service. Will be back

This was my first time visiting The Root Cellar, we had the southern egg rolls and livers for appetizers, the shrimp and grits and meat, and three for lunch. The food was ok but I did have high expectations so I don't know if I should have lowered them. It's a good lunch spot for Southern food just a little bland for our taste.

Visited because I was given a gift card. Haven’t been in that building since it was Stefano’s. We were not at all impressed with the food. BBQ egg rolls were mushy, the sauce too sweet. Ribeye steak sandwich was flavorless, as if the steak wasn’t seasoned. We won’t
