Twisted Root has been serving folks for 6 years. I can't believe I have not tried it before now. Welcoming and comfortable feel. Touchtunes available, small Gameroom in rear, and Golden Tee machine in main room.
Nice little crowd for 1:45 pm on a Friday afternoon. Varied menu and noticed daily specials on the blackboard. I put on some tunes and ordered the Aligator Bites -- blackened and grilled. They are also offered fried.
Decided on the Patty Melt and Fries for main meal. They had other good-looking sides, but I was craving good old fries. Although not served on Rye bread, Twisted Root prepares their melt on toasted and lightly buttered Texas toast.
Didn't notice until leaving -- saw a great little covered outdoor space connected to main building. Not sure if they serve outside, but saw a couple tables and chairs. Might just be a nice area to grab a smoke.
I will definitely be back. You should check it out yourself!!

I've eaten here close to 10 times, and have always enjoyed their food. I usually get different items when coming here (wings, shrimp, zucchini sticks, mozzarella sticks, Philly, chicken sandwich, etc) and everything is always fresh, hot, and delicious. Service is usually great too, but it can slow down a tad on busier evenings like Friday to Sunday.
We stopped in last minute to grab a bite to eat. We were pleasantly surprised, great service, the food was amazing and we will definitely go back. We recommend TR’s Bar and Grill highly. 5 stars!

The food was very good as well as the beer selection. Good group of guys that hold the cornhole tournaments. Definitely will be back.
Most of the times it's a great place to meet friends for some good food. They have a small band that comes in and playes some good music but can be a bit too loud at times but that's just my thoughts. If you like salmon they make a great dish some of the best aground, this also goes for their chicken wings, chicken sandwiches and burgers. Wing chips and sweat potatoe fries are also really good. I'm not a drinker but they have a bar and I've heard they do a good job with the specialty drinks.
Parking: Parking and size of the restaurant are comparable as it has some paved area and gravel area.
We happened upon the place while hangry and driving by. Not being from the south we asked for recommendations. Had the alligator bites (delish) and hamburger steak (delish). Drinks were perfected. Waitress invited us to stay for live music. 5 star for a lucky find. Will be back.

The burgers were amazing. Great vibe here hand cut fries. They have regular events which is cool. Definitely be going back!
