Went in with a couple friends, there is table service but we chose to sit at the bar and I’m really glad we did. Our bartender Apple was attentive and kind, answered all of our questions, made suggestions for drinks brought us lots of samples for my indecisive friend and also carried on lively, funny conversations with everyone at her (very full) bar. will definitely be back, will definitely be at the bar.

I went to this location Sunday afternoon. First time we had visited. A work party of nine. We were going to have drinks. They stated they needed a card for pre authorization. I gave them my debit card, it was declined, So I gave them my credit card. It was declined twice. As I’m sitting there, I’m getting a notification on my phone that my card is being pre-authorized for 29.95. So now I have three pending charges on my credit card that I had to dispute with the bank this morning to top it off. I said no big deal. I have cash cashless the bartender stated. This was unprofessional because they did it at the bar in front of everyone. Two other coworkers presented their cards and they were declined also. Let me be very transparent here The manager stepped in and swiped his card, and of course it went through. Out of the party of nine only one of our cards went through. The card that went through had an authorization of 29.95 then when we checked out on top of the pre-authorization it was charged for $13.95 for the drink. It would have been an easy 4-500$ sale. I do not recommended anyone going there giving them your card. Same card fed the nine people across the street at Embers. A little over 1400$ with gratuity. The only positive I could find, in the whole situation was the atmosphere of the building. I highly highly do not recommend going there. I should have read reviews before going I understand why they have a 3.9 rating on google reviews.

I had their extra large burger with pimento cheese and The beef patty just had no flavor. The french fries were good they are seasoned. The quinoa burger wasn't cooked enough it tasted better after it went in the air fryer the next day at our home. The pizza has those crusts that you buy in the grocery store with poked holes in them already made. Not good pizza. Not a great selection of beers a horrible selection of wines. We are one and done with this place. I will say the service was great I don't remember her name but she was really good. The chicken Tikka sandwich didn't look like it was marinated in anything tikka. The chicken wings were good size but they were supposed to be marinated and ranch and sriracha and they weren't nor did they have ranch or sriracha sauce and they were like $15 for six wings which I think is ridiculous. Overpriced

Disappointed in the wings. Picture on menu looks like they are yummy, but they were very plain. Ordered sweet heat with sauce on side and reg lemon pepper. Lemon pepper came with dry mix on side so my wings were plain. Not extra crispy as requested either. Very disappointing... side Caesar okay but didn't taste like regular Caesar. Big Lexi pizza good but not a lot of flavor in crust. Chicks Chicky Bang Bang sandwich very good.

Went on Monday night before Christmas. Party of six. Despite having a reservation and most of the restaurant being empty anyway we still waited for several minutes while someone was able to clear off the table so that we can be seated.

Once seated, we waited probably 10 minutes for a waitress to come by to order drinks. 45 minutes later, we were still waiting on drinks and had not ordered anything other than appetizer. We got the check and left.

Despite walking to the bar twice to ask for assistance and getting our drinks and seeing the manager constantly making eye contact with us, they never bothered to come by and check or see why we were waiting so long. This had to be obvious because the manager was the one who ultimately had to bring the drinks and still chose not to address the obvious elephant in the room. While all of this was going on, I observed our waitress hanging out with different friends at the bar and not doing anything for nearly 30 min. The holdup seem to be having two beers poured, which were on tap and right behind the bartender who was not busy. (And I walked up twice to inquire)

We were told this was due to lack of staffing, but there were at least five people on the floor that night, which was about two tables per person. No excuse.

Was also very disappointed to see that many of the foods advertised online or not actually on the menu at the location. They were also out of their own beers, which was odd considering their market but we ordered others that were on tap.

Both families that went agreed there was no way we would ever go back there. Poor service, inattentive staff, limited food, options, and lack of awareness by management.

I ordered mussels 1/4 were closed either bad or unfinished. Owner’s reply was “oh well” some like that and refused to remake or credit. And wouldn’t talk to us. I’m disappointed and afraid to return if owner thinks 1:4 of your food is inedible and doesn’t care.

Please make a physical beer menu available. The app wasn’t working and the waitress made us walk to the bar to see what was available.

Awesome food, great service
Acoustics make it a little loud, even with few people there, but I wouldn't let that stop you.... Highly recommend

My husband and I finally were able to make it over to Voodoo since their opening, and it was great. Vanessa was our server, and she was phenomenal! So attentive, warm, and welcoming - we hope we get her everytime. The owner stopped by and chatted with us, and he was wonderful as well. Love seeing great places like this in Lexington. Highly recommend coming. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy some of the events they have planned.

We had a blast! Lots of food and beer options. The staff is so nice and helpful. 4 different people helped us. Dawu Bowman, the manager, immediately greeted us and took our drink order. We had beer and apps on the table in a flash. They even had a raffle there for a giant stuffed bear to help a non-profit.

My husband and I visited for the first time for lunch this Friday. I had been looking forward to coming here but was a little hesitant on the way due to some of the reviews as they’ve been going through their opening and “growing pains.” Let me just say, today they were fantastic. We tried four beers that were all excellent, and I enjoyed the Maple Manhattan. I ordered mussels and a side salad, both of which were larger portions than expected and very fresh and enjoyable. My husband got the buffalo mac and cheese. It was mouth watering good. We intend to go back and bring some family and friends.

Awesome atmosphere the moment you walk in, you feel at home and the staff makes you feel welcome. The decor and feel of the restaurant feels upscale but relaxed at the same time. The food….. I love cheeseburgers and have been searching for the holy grail of burgers in my 53 years. I found it at Voodoo with the Foodoo burger. Brioche bun, perfect season blend, amazing ranch sauce topping the fresh made patty finished off with fresh cut bacon cooked to perfection. If you love burgers as much as I do you have to run to Voodoo tomorrow to give them a try. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Dawu and team for bringing burger bliss to Lexington!!!
